The food was very nice but the only problem is I had to send mine back as it was only luke warm...When I got my meal the second time it was fine but by this time my son had almost finished his meal which meant we could not dine together...A free drink would have been nice for the inconvenience caused
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamI finding it a little difficult to leave a very good review of this place. For a smokehouse the menu seemed a little bit burger top heavy, not many steaks on offer, ribs full rack or half , a chicken and salmon dish, brisket dish and a few hot dogs " dogs" that's basically it..apart from the 7 burger choices, the starters also seemed to have very little options choices. However food was well cooked and tasted nice. Due to the drop in outside temperature, the restaurant seemed cold inside and we kept our coats on to eat. Will I go back unfortunately no, it's expensive and a bit of a let down after reading positive reviews.

Buraq – KirkhamHad a really great meal here for my sons birthday. The food was tasty and great value. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very quiet, this could have been due to the time of day...I feel more people need to know about this place as it is hands down better than it's comparable alternatives Hickory's. We will definitely be back.

The service was fab and the price was great value. Will definitely be going back, even my husband who isn't keen on smoked meat really enjoyed the food. Thanks

Buraq – KirkhamBusiest I’ve ever seen the restaurant on a Saturday evening at 7pm. Been to the Buraq many times. Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. I don’t know of any other Indian restaurant where a jug of water is already on your table without even asking. Poppadoms and a chutney tray also provided free of charge. Highly recommended.

Service was very slow, plates were left on the table for a long time after we had all finished, the table next to us were seated but no-one came to take their order so after 20mins they walked out. The food was good, the souther chick burger was a 10/10 , however we were slightly disappointed in the mixed grill, quite small portions compared to other similar places. Would probably go again but will try a different time. It would also be useful to tell customers that they pay the bill at the bar not at the table.

Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamThe food was excellent. It took a long time to get severed at the bar, as the young lady working was inexperienced and clearly needed some training. The restaurant seemed very short staffed. My mother was served a curry in a ridiculously hot plate. The toddlers meal was also served on a hot plate. We had to send it back to be put on a cold plate. I think investment in staff training is essential to improve customer experience.

The service was pretty slow given the place only had one other table in, we didn’t mind so much as it was sunny and the children played on the play area. When the food arrived it was all great, we will be back.
