Booked breakfast for 4 at 10am arrived 5 minutes early, doors were locked. Waited until 10.05 and just about to find somewhere else when they opened up. So glad we stayed the food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, we even had some cooking tips from the chef. We had 2 Butch Cassidy's and 2 Sundance Kids clean plates all round. Looking to book for a family get together during the Christmas period

My partner has some issues with food, and when the dish was originally brought out it had sauce & salad on, but was quickly replaced by a completely fresh burger - the waiter and chef being extremely apologetic. Big shout out to Amy! She was a lovely server.

Buraq – KirkhamIt was my first time eating in Buraq and here's my experience. Everytime we pass by, we see a lot of people waiting outside, thinking that it was a good restaurant. When we found out that the reason for the wait is that, food takes a loooot of time to make, to wait for almost an hour, that is ridiculous, food wise, it was quite okay, we ordered, Butter chicken (which is not the butter chicken we were expecting, it's more like, coconut cream chicken) and then, we ordered 1 garlic fried rice (which, i cannot taste any garlic at all) and 1 egg fried rice (which again, can't find any eggs on it.) Service wise from the staff, there's no timeframe of the waiting for the food. Price wise, I think, it is quite reasonable, good thing it is not that expensive. The appetisers were good though, those free flat thingy.
Buraq – KirkhamMade a family booking online for 6.30 p.m. on a Saturday evening. Extremely welcoming on arrival and friendly service from bar to table. As a starter, nachos with pulled pork were a meal in themselves and absolutely delicious. We had a selection of BBQ brisket, fish and a 'mac and cheese' burger. The brisket was so tender and tasted delicious with the BBQ sauce. Chips had a great kick with the cajun spices. As for pudding, fresh baked cookie dough was a hit as were the waffles. Great reminder of Tex Mex cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will be visitng agin soon.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamVery disappointed all round The place was cold inside and the service took awhile for the amount of people in (6 tables ) Was recommended by a friend but was honestly shocked with the quality of the food ,the starter tortilla chips with a small bit of pulled pork in the middle. We had the Sharing platter, the corn on the cob and the chips where the only things that that where alright suppose can't really go wrong with them . The chicken wings where plain with a small drizzle of sauce. The ribs where dry ,aldis are far nicer. Mcdonalds burgers are better . The briskets seemed like it hadn't been slow cooked . Pulled pork was average Wouldn't recommend to anyone
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamStarted off with poor service and we were the only ones in the restaurant. No consistency with the waiting staff. Took a while to get some drinks and we had to ask if we could place a food order. The burger Pattie was overcooked and a bit bland. The Brisket was dry and a bit leathery. The only decent meal that came out was the ribs. Checked out the desert menu but found this was lacking of anything imaginative.

Buraq – KirkhamBooked a table a few days beforehand but it was so busy , the table was not ready. I always judge a place by the poppadoms- so unfortunately yesterday they were stale and soggy. The place was buzzing , no parking either in the car park or outside on the road. Avoid a Sunday early evening….
Buraq – KirkhamI have enjoyed smokehouse food all over the USA but never found anywhere in the UK to match the flavours or quality of that food until I ate at Henry’s Smokehouse. Will I go back? Most definitely. Would I recommend it? If you want a true taste of authentic American smokehouse food, sauces and flavours then Henry’s is the place to visit.

Buraq – KirkhamWe booked a table for 6pm. Arrived walked in what a lovely bar very quiet for a Saturday night no atmosphere and was cold no.music in the restaurant no staff or what was there were so stressed they were turning people away. Such a shame as a nice place. Will not be visiting again.

Buraq – KirkhamThe food was very nice but the only problem is I had to send mine back as it was only luke warm...When I got my meal the second time it was fine but by this time my son had almost finished his meal which meant we could not dine together...A free drink would have been nice for the inconvenience caused
