Belle Epoque – KnutsfordI love this restaurant, everyone was so nice and the food was totally amazing. Can't wait to go back. Very good selection of wonderful wines as well.
Belle Epoque – KnutsfordAs one who travels from the Reading area to the North on occasions when I attend soccer matches in Manchester. I always make a food stop at the Smoker. I have always found the food and the service excellent, and I can recomend the Smoker to anyone who wishes a break in travelling on the M6.
The Smoker – Knutsfordwow a first class night out. live music which was second to none and a friendly and efficient team of staff. the food was great and the atmosphere was electric. will be back.
Knutsford Wine Bar – KnutsfordThe Belle Epoque has been a favourite for years and never fails to please. Food is always excellent, the atmosphere and surroundings always wonderful and the staff always friendly and most helpful. Keep up the good work - we hope to continue enjoying the experience for many years to come!
Belle Epoque – KnutsfordI thought the belle epoque knutsford was really nice and very welcoming and cosy i felt at home! it was also very comfortable and the gardens were outstanding and very pretty. The service was very fast so nobody was hungry in between.
Belle Epoque – KnutsfordThe smoker was recommended to me by a friend and since then I have used it several times. I must admit that I am rather fond of the lamb Henry which is a firm favourite with my friends too although all of the dishes are excellent as is the service and the staff are down to earth and friendly especially Margaret whom I think is the owner. My most recent meal was Sunday 7th august 2005 table 15 for a party of five, in fact one of my guests is a Chinese girl (zhuo li) and her partner of which Margaret said if she did not like the sweet it would be replaced at no extra charge. Waiting time from placing your order to being served is minimal and the food is always piping hot, my view is you could spend the same amount at a burger joint? But why bother! When you get this kind of service. I live 1.5 miles from the centre of Manchester, others in our party were my dad Cyril and my friend Steve Morris, this visit to the smoker was in the memory of my mother who passed away 3 yrs ago 27th august. The trip to the smoker is well worth the wait. I strongly recommend you give them a try. Derek Jackson 113 college road. whalley range. Manchester.m16 0ab
The Smoker – KnutsfordJust had lunch at the Smoker and feel I have to let others know what a great place this is. We went as a family and were made very welcome, the menus are as extensive as you will find and all the food is freshly cooked - with an emphasis on local produce. The Beers and wines are kept very well and in better weather there is an attractive beer garden with small children? play area. If you are appreciative of good food and service but avoid the usual "wacky warehouses" like the plague then "The Smoker" is just perfect. Also been recommended for a great Set menu Sunday Lunch.
The Smoker – KnutsfordHad a lovely lunch. The fish and chips are something special. Friendly staff.
The Church Inn – KnutsfordI have visited the Cottage Restaurant on numerous occasions, The intervals between visits have been infrequent, but the high standard of food and service has been maintained. The restaurant is formal, but very friendly with efficient but not intrusive service. The wines have proved to be good commensurate with the price.
The Cottage – KnutsfordWe eat at Pastiche a great deal and have never had a bad meal. The food is fantastic. We will continue to eat here in the future. Once you have been along you will never forget it. Dress code - Smart Casual
Pastiche – KnutsfordReal food, cooked & served by warm welcoming people, cheap for the standard
Belle Epoque – KnutsfordMixed bag here for me. The place has a great formal (make sure you dress up) atmosphere, the decor is a real wow-factor. The food varied from good (starters and main) to amazing (desert) - but when you consider the prices, it ought to be. Service was OK, a little in-experienced in some places (wine was delicately banged into place on the table with a cheerful 'here you go' - which seemed out of place) and one waiter announced the Fois Gras as chicken liver pate - which confused most people... however i think we were treated a little differently as a large group. I'd recommend you go an try it yourself, good for couples.
