Absolutely brilliant place with beautiful grounds. Been for afternoon tea 3 or 4 times and never been disappointed. Will definitely be going again, the staff are friendly and service excellent. A visit is highly recommended.

The dining room we were in was perfectly dressed with crisp white linen and bone china for our delicious afternoon tea. We were served by a lovely young lady who was very attentive and pleasant. The afternoon tea was delicious with well filled sandwiches, great cakes and really lovely warm scones. Overall a really pleasant afternoon with my mum. Well done Mere Court, I would certainly return.

Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordWe celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversay with a meal at Mere Court having had our wedding reception here. The young guy that served us was friendly and attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine but had to ask for a clean glass, one of the ones that we were given was filthy! The starters were lovely. The mains were a little disapointing, the pork fillet was supposed to be served with pancetta, they must have run out as there was none on the plate, the beef was a little dry. My husband had the chocolate cake for desert which he enjoyed. I ordered the cheese, the cheese itself was nice however it was served with very dried out celery sticks and grapes that were past their best and truning brown. The music in the dining room wasnt really what youd expect from the setting and really didnt help to create a nice ambience. We overheard a lady on another table complain about her main course too. Maybe it was just a bad day for the kitchen!!

Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordFour of us enjoyed a truly excellent lunch at Mere Court recently! It was our first time there and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Two of our party had diet issues (Gluten Free) and these were addressed with no problems at all. The service from the staff was tip top, the food was of the very best quality and beautifully presented. I cannot fault them in any way - hence the full marks given below. We are planning to return soon and are looking forward to being there once again.

This time, we celebrated the Birthday of our Gran from Austria and enjoyed a delicious Afternoon Tea: The table was beautifully set, the staff was very friendly and helpful as always, the food was outstanding. Best fresh scones ever!! Our "Birthday Girl" got a specially prepared plate for the occasion as we mentioned it when booking the table. After tea we went for a walk on the grounds - such beautiful gardens, lovely for all generations! Highly recommended - we will be back sooner than later!
