Quattro’s – OrmskirkA last minute shoe in for Mothers Day - big thanks to Stacey for her help on this one... my first visit to Toms and the food was superb. A long and narrow restaurant - which worked well, as you didnt feel lost in a huge space. the menu was not over complicated - but we both wanted everything on the menu! Personally - i never eat dessert. this time i did having watched them carried past the table! Will definitely be back again. a real jewel in the Ribble Valley foodie world

The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallI dined at verdes last night with my mum and family for a later Mother’s Day meal, booked my table for 6:30 and only got seated at 6:50 considering there where many tables available on top of this the service was appalling it took us 30 minutes after this to even be asked what we would like for food and it just seemed like the staff could not deal with the amount of people in the restaurant and ended up making what should of been an enjoyable meal a not so
