The Traders Arms – BlackburnReally enjoyed the visit Saturday night with girl friends. Despite being so busy the food service and staff were excellent. We especially enjoy the egg ravioli. Thank you Dan and team.

CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenThis was my first visit to Lancaster and the Wagon and Horses. We booked for Sunday lunch as it was so close to the car park behind the Maritime Museum, which we had decided to visit before lunch. There is a reduced main course menu on Sundays plus a full menu of starters and desserts. The food was good value for money, the staff very friendly and attentive and I think this was probably the cleanest pub I have ever been in, including the wc. I was surprised the Wagon and Horses wasn't more busy. Maybe a couple of extra mains on the Sunday menu is called for. The rum babas and tiramusu were lovely and very generous. Would highly recommend.
Wagon and Horses – LancasterHeard good things about the restaurant. Always passed by and wanted to try. We weren't disappointed. Great pizzas. Attentive friendly staff in a somewhat bohemian atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenGreat dog- friendly pub. Excellent food, service and value for money.
Wagon and Horses – LancasterExcellent Sunday roast, excellent staff, relaxing atmosphere, well worth a visit.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenReally special food - full of flavour, care and subtlety. It was a Sunday eve so not busy. The staff were attentive and really helpful - great service. The food arrived in a timely manner - not too rushed, well paced. I took my friend from Wolverhampton who is notoriously fussy about Indian food ... she approved 10/10! Thank you.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterReally good food and service . Would definitely go back . The garlic mushrooms starters were very tasty and the Sunday Roast ( beef) was exceptional and filling ..
The Traders Arms – BlackburnWhat a gem! Food - excellent quality and value. We’ll be back thank you
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenHad a brilliant meal in the quaint restaurant. Staff were super friendly and checked in with us if we needed anything. We were seated in the main bar area which was cosy. When we book again I'd request the main restaurant and to be seated by the windows. I've heard great reviews about the view from here. Well worth the hour journey from where we live
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenNever dissappointed whatever I decide to get its always well nice
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallHad a nice meal - burger from the specials menu, hubby had lamb shank. Both well cooked and presented :)
Trawden Arms – ColneWe’ve been wanting to try this local restaurant since they opened and finally got round to it by booking for Thursday Streak Night. Excellent meal, our Rib Eye Steaks were cooked well, juicy and tender. The menu included a bottle of wine which although only a house red was perfectly acceptable. Couldn’t resist the urge for desserts, which again were lovely. Service was good, although we were actually dining quite early and midweek. The decor and layout is attractive and the ambience was good. We were a little unsure of the loud boisterous noise coming from the adjoining bar area but this was due to a birthday gathering and did disperse later which was fine. Some sort of partition glass door to separate the restaurant from the bar area might eliminate the loud noise from time to time perhaps, as it was very open
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenHelpful and friendly staff. Delicious food and a brilliant atmosphere. Best restaurant for miles.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkVisited for our wedding anniversary and unfortunately we were given each other’s steaks and the waitresses need to learn how to serve food properly as passing hot plates is not satisfactory- they should be put on the table and not expect the customer to take them from your hands. Our family had been in earlier in the day to pay towards our meal as a surprise but the staff failed to tell us or deduct the money from our bill so they had to call back in to get a refund and were told that the voucher was on our table - well it wasn’t and we have a photo to prove that so they said someone would be in contact with us but a week later and we’ve heard nothing. Disappointing!
