A’Vucciria – RawtenstallA fabulous pre Christmas meal with family in lovely surroundings! All our meals were excellent served really quickly by very friendly staff ! We’ve been quite a lot in the past but this was the first visit since the alterations. We do not hesitate to recommend The Whitchaff and will definitely visit again soonThank You
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the chocolate cherry sweet especially, service was good. The table physically too small for 2 meals side plates & wine glasses etc. Our only hesitation is the price —our bill was silly so will be looking to return for the special steak night for example.
Toms Table – ClitheroeFood was delicious Service was good We will definitely return
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenExcellent Christmas meal! One of our party, who is an expert, having had four Christmas dinners already this year, said it was the best!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleA lovely birthday lunch on 20th December. A’Vucciria has a lovely atmosphere . The food is all freshly prepared and well presented as well as being delicious. The idea of cicchetti / tapas is a great idea especially when the food is good so you can sample a variety
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallTook a chance on what we knew would be a busy day and it was - huge group in for a Christmas meal. Mental busy, but they squeezed us in and served an excellent meal in a timely manner and keep us top upped with drinks. Food was excellent and service with a smile and calm manner despite the obvious rush. Excellent venue, brilliant staff and a top notch experience- highly recommended
The Station Hotel – LancasterWas a little disappointed that even thought the weather was dreadful outside I wasn’t allowed in the restaurant at 1145 as they didn’t open until 1200. However have to say we really enjoyed the food, nice atmosphere and good service. Would have been good if staff had of known that Stone bass was not the same as Sea bass but it was still enjoyable.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallHad lunch for my Husband's Birthday there yesterday, we both had the 3 course festive menu. All the food was excellent, as were the cocktails! The service was brilliant and everyone was very welcoming. Looking forward to trying the standard menu very soon.
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyBeen going to Quattro’s for a number of years. Food exceptional, a little bit disappointed yesterday my cutlery dirty !! Pointed it out to waiter who exchanged quickly. My only issue was that maybe someone needs to look at portions sizes on desserts!! @ £6.95 per portion didn’t expect the dessert to be just a sliver of cake it was poor at this price !! expected more for your money, won’t be ordering dessert again .
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWhat can I say, we have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Cosmo is amazing It has gone from strength to strength, survived COVID Our last visit on the 15th of December did not disappoint, The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they go out of their way to make your dining experience, enjoyable relaxed and memorable. The food is exceptional, any quirky preferences will be dealt with within reason. To recommend a particular dish is difficult because everyone has different tastes But everything we have had has not been a disappointment. Go and enjoy the Cosmic experience , Reg , and his staff will look after you
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyThe food is absolutely amazing. The bread and dip are the best. Service is spot on! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Anatolia Grill – St HelensLunch for 4 people Excellent friendly service Good choice of mains- 2 pescatarians Some delay in serving 4 mains at the same time Generous portions, Always an enjoyable experience
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleA great lunch as usual and lovely service It has become a 'go to' place for us to eat out
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas meal at Whins yesterday, even though our booking from a week or so ago had not reached them. They accommodated us, as they often do, with friendliness and politeness. Our food choices from the Christmas menu were excellent. Many thanks. Wishing you all a very happy Festive Season, and see you in 2024!
Whins Green KitchenWe go once a week as it is a very warm and friendly atmosphere the food is excellent I can’t fault it
Papa Luigis – ChorleyFood was lovely as usual, Fish Pie from the specials menu was delicious. Good red wine selection too.
