Papa Luigis – ChorleyWe were out with our walking group and have weekly experience of lunches at different pubs. We were very happy with the Whitchaff . Meal were excellent with all in the party happy with their choices. The sandwich selection gave very good value, especially with the copious quantities provided. Despite the place being crowded when we arrived, service was friendly and efficient, our drinks and meals arrived without delays . We gave the pub a five star rating and look forward to returning in the future

Toms Table – ClitheroeGreat service from great staff. Lovely pub/restaurant interior. Would have liked to have tried the Sunday roast but it had run out by 4.00pm. Our alternative order, Steak & Stilton pie was delicious. Large portions and too much for my elderly mum in one go but the leftovers were boxed up for takeaway, no problem.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThe food was delicious and just what we fancied after our long walk. The wait for food was well over an hour, no one informed us of the wait. One of us asked for no mushy peas but it came with them and it was on top of the fish and chips, we didn’t complain because we couldn’t be bothered waiting even longer. We had to wait another 5 mins for our veg. We had to ask for everything including cutlery.
