The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallHad a great night ! “The Ten” a reunion of 10 great mates. Made to feel welcome, so warm and friendly! For so many well travelled people ( 10 Old fellas) THIS tapas menu was extraordinary, varied and creative. The taste, the quality excellent. Not one of us has been here before! Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeFood is beautifully cooked , excellent quality and freshly prepared , definitely no microwave warm ups! Dogs welcome and a log burner to warm you up. Looks like it would be a great place in summer too.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenFirst time at Tom’s Table and it didn’t disappoint. Delicious food, well presented. Most dishes good value given the quality but £5 for a bowl of chips and £9 for most puds stood out as a hint pricey. Service a tad slow (there was a large party in) but very very pleasant. 70s / ABBA playlist a touch odd in parts; we enjoyed it although it would have been too loud had we sat under a speaker. All in all very enjoyable and we will be back.
