The Traders Arms – BlackburnAs always the food is first class. My only criticism is that the portions seem to be getting smaller. 3 tiny ribs for the starter, delicious as they were not much on the plate. The garlic bread was tiny too.

The member of the kitchen team who greeted us and allowed us in early was very helpful (I'm heavily pregnant and was desperate for the toilet). The serving staff were lovely and efficient as always. We had the soup and roast beef, all delicious and hoping to be able to visit again soon. It was a real treat.

Loads of space Had a delicious meal comprising of Crispy halloumi fries with chilli dip to start followed by salt and pepper surf and turf. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the salt and pepper chips very tasty We then shared a dessert of parkin and treacle toffee ice cream sundae The staff were attentive and friendly All in all a lovely evening Would highly recommend

Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeA really excellent Sunday lunch. Great veg selection, and plenty of it. Oh and the cauli cheese was delicious! We’ll definitely be back. And lovely staff. Only comment (Which I fed back at the time) was please could they serve the gravy/sauce in a side jug rather than pouring quite a lot of it all over the meal. Same went for the truly gorgeous pear tart tatin: less syrup poured over but please give me as much as you want in a side jug! It was amazing
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe were a table of 4 and whilst the majority of food was good, we had an issue with one dish. One waitress didn't really know what to do and nothing really happened but another waitress came and dealt with it. We were knocked a very small amount of the bill but felt it should've been more or at least the one meal knocked off the bill due to the extent of the issue. However, we would return as the food and feel of the place are overall very good.
Brizola Bar & Grill – Clitheroewe visited site on Saturday 4th November we had a lovely time and the food was perfect. my partner had the lasagne which was both delicious and plentiful, a really good portion. I had the napolitana pizza this was equally tasty. a bottle of wine and two negronis rounded off a great visit which fell on my birthday so I could not have asked for a nicer evening.

Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe were very early, first customer in which is the reason for down scoring on atmosphere. The service was excellent from all staff, including both greeting and saying goodbye. Prices were a little on the high side, but having said that the food was very good with decent quantities. All in all, if I was visiting Lancaster again in the evening I would certainly go to the Sultan of Lancaster.

We went towards the end of service on a Friday night but were neither rushed or received anything other than brilliant and v attentive service. The food was exquisite! The owner recommended Seabass Saltimboca and I was glad I took her advice. We had a lovely time within a reasonable budget even with wine. Just perfect!
