Have eaten here many times and the food is always excellent. Two for £10 tapas on Thursday is excellent value. Lovely welcome and excellent service. We will be back soon.

Bread and Butter – PrestonThere was 9 of us and most of the meals were good but we had a long so when the food finally arrived one meal was just warm and another was over cooked and quite dry. The service was slow but there only seemed to be the one waitress? Also they had run out of a lot of things… No chunky chips, no prawns, no port etc. On the whole we enjoyed the food and atmosphere but these few niggles could have been avoided and the experience made even better. We will give it another go though.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnLovely food. Great service. Warm welcome in a cosy setting. Thank you.
Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonI had booked an evening meal at the Sultan for my wife and I. I had booked it for 7pm but due to our bus into town running faultlessly with very few stops we got into town early. We decided that seeing it was a Thursday they would be quiet so it wouldn't be a problem. We got there and there were a few tables with couples on but be also one huge table with around 30 young men . We were still welcomed and led to our table. The service was great even taking into account the work that must have been going on in the kitchen etc. Our starters and main meals were very nice and I highly recommend the Sultan to anyone who loves Asian food.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterLovely food with beautiful presentation. Greet service too.
Bread and Butter – PrestonOur first visit to this lovely old pub. Comfortable seating in a warm bright room. The staff were helpful & efficient & our food was delivered fairly quickly. We both ordered the venison dish, it was delicious, tender meat in a tasty jus, dauphinoise potatoes & fresh veg. Sooo good. Would've liked a few more veg, otherwise perfect.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeI visited, yesterday, with a friend, for lunch. It was superb!! Greeted by a friendly member of staff, who seated us. We got our drinks straight away, no waiting. The food was fabulous. I got a hot beef, onion and stilton baguette, with chips (very generous). It was incredibly good. My friend got the tuna melt baguette, again it looked really good, she enjoyed it. Reasonably priced, good food, friendly, welcoming staff...well worth a visit. Definately going back. Thankyou. 5 stars!!!
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleySuperb food, great ambience , fast and polite service. What’s not to like.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallThe staff, as well as the other customers dining at the same time as us, were exceptional with my 2 year old daughter. She was made to feel so welcome and included! The food as always was brilliant, can never fault it… the lunch deal is great value :)
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe went for lunch and the meal was excellent as was the service. Will certainly visit again.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkI came here on Friday for my mum's birthday and it was lovely. The service was excellent and the food was so tasty. This was the first time my mum had been and she said she would definitely recommend it and would return.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeAmazing food and service as usual. I couldn't fault the taste and appearance of anything.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeAnother great meal, staff amazing, food great. Fantastic atmosphere.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallExcellent in every respect. The service was quick, quiet and friendly. The only problem with the menu was making a choice! We shared dipping breads as a starter, and moved on to the lamb hock and herbed plaice as our mains. Both were lovely, especially the beurre blanc that came with the plaice. As another reviewer has said, unfortunately we didn't have room for a dessert, all of which looked delicious. The coffee was good as the drinks list offered plenty of choice. Altogether, a superb lunch just when we needed a pick-up! We will certainly be back.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleI love going to Bread & Butter, its one of my favourite places to go eat, the food is always excellent, tastes so fresh and presented so beautifully. Atmosphere is good, the place is always busy and the service is always good too.
Bread and Butter – PrestonFood on the 21st of feb was amazing. We brought friends from St. Helens who had never dined here before and have both said they’d love to come back. My partner and I have dined here a number of times now and never have we had a bad experience. Staff are very attentive, service impeccable and the food is outstanding!!
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenWe came for food yesterday on the Griffins Head opening day under new ownership. We've been really looking forward to our local opening back up and we were not disappointed. The new owners are genuinely lovely, made time to speak to us although it was very busy. The waiting staff were attentive and although you could notice nerves as it began to get busy on their 1st night they remained calm and really are an asset to the pub. Food was lovely. We had mushrooms, soup and chicken wings to start couldn't fault it. Mains we had steak, steak and ale pie and a burger again very good food. (Love that I got a peppercorn sauce with my steak) usually these are at an additional charge. Extremely reasonably priced. We had 7 alcoholic drinks and 2 lemonades plus 3 starters and 3 mains and the price was a reasonable £85. It's just so nice to have our local back open with a lovely family running it and decent staff working there. Good luck and see you every Friday! X
Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonWe have visited Caton regularly over the last 4 years and always eat out at one or both of the local pubs. Unfortunately our experience here on Friday night was really disappointing and we probably won't bother booking again. We waited an hour for our food (having been told that a lot of items on the menu were not available) and there were only three or four other tables of diners in so I'm not sure why it took so long. The young girl serving us was a delight and she couldn't have been more helpful/ apologetic, but if it hadn't been for her we would have probably walked out. The food, when it arrived, was quite nice and we ate it all but we didn't bother with a dessert and just wanted to leave. Quite a shame for a birthday meal, although we did appreciate the complimentary drink offered as an apology .
