Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeGo to Papa Luigi’s, at least once a month, and always have a good, tasty meal. Decent choice of menu, and competitive prices. Lovely puddings!! Staff helpful, friendly and professional. Will continue to visit regularly
Papa Luigis – ChorleyA gem of a restaurant and I’m so glad I found it. I was on my own and was looked after so well. The starter and main course were absolutely delicious (had to go for the steak pudding and amazing gravy even though the rest of the menu was so tempting it was hard to choose). I would heartily recommend.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeLovely meal for my daughters 21st birthday. Steak was beautiful and the carbonara. Spicy garlic bread was lovely. Strawberry meringue dessert with cream was delicious and not too heavy. Lovely service. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely surroundings too
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWent to the steak night and was the best steak I’d tasted! Food was amazing and the service was excellent, great little place and we will definitely be returning to try more of their food
Toms Table – ClitheroeNicest meal we've had in a long time, absolutely stunning, carbonara and the lasagne was full of flavour, starters and deserts was my favourite, perfectly sized portions too, the only problem we had was we had to ask 4 times for a bottle of water to go with the mains.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAway on holiday and wanting to do something special for our wedding anniversary, found Toms Table. Looked after very well, food absolutely delicious and a relaxed friendly atmosphere with attentive staff. Even 60's music playing! Chef produced a little treat for our anniversary after the meal - what more could we ask? Thanks to everyone.
Toms Table – ClitheroeA Birthday lunch for two. Me & my Mini Me ! Lovely welcome on arrival. Lovely food, very attentive service. Soundtrack amazing in the background, whilst we had a leisurely lunch with lots of laughter. Thank you to Racheal & her team, especially the lovely lady ( glasses and short hair )
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeEnjoyable meal, good food and service in a pleasant ambience, The sound track that night was golden oldies from the 60's! Certainly recommend a visit.
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe were spoilt for choice! So many delightful things to choose from. Portions were generous and the meal was delicious. I ordered the prawn and cod tacos and was not disappointed. We will come again
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe were spoilt for choice! So many delightful things to choose from. Portions were generous and the meal was delicious. I ordered the prawn and cod tacos and was not disappointed. We will come again
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWonderful meal served by very attentive and cheery staff. Will certainly be eating there again.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyAnother lovely meal at the Whitchaff. Never disappoints, choice, service, food quality , value for money are always excellent. Already booked again.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallStandard meal and nothing special. I thought the lady on reception was rude and nobody asked how the food was hence bad customer service. Staff seemed to look unhappy. Lasagna seemed like it was a microwave meal. The restaurant itself as in the decorative side was lovely. It is just ashame about the food and service. More training might be needed.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExceptional food, sensitively prepared and cooked by a master chef.
Toms Table – ClitheroeFour of us thoroughly enjoyed a splendid lunch. The food was excellent, so tasty, served at the right temperature and paced well. The staff were professional, pleasant, attentive but not intrusive. The very comfortable surroundings promoted a pleasant ambience. It was a lovely experience in every way. We hope to return soon to try some of the other delicious sounding dishes on the menu.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkIt's a shame that the service was so poor because the food was really tasty. We were put in a back room/bar area away from the restaurant and all the servers seemed to forget about us. We didn't get served for over half an hour until we went to the bar to ask for service. We were then made aware we were given the wrong menu. We were told our drinks would be knocked off the bill due to the service issues. However they never were. The food came and it was delicious but the first time a server came over to check on us 75% on the way through the meal and we had never received the roast potato's on the Sunday lunch board. He said he would 'sort something' for the trouble. By the time we finished we were a bit fed up so asked for the bill as we didn't get anything 'sorted for us'. The drinks were still on the bill and had not been removed.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenFood was excellent and staff were great, however the first table we were allocated had a small round table and low armchairs which would have made eating very uncomfortable. Another round table had become available so we moved there, because the chairs were much higher and better suited to dining. The round table however was no larger and as we were a party of 4, and two of us had sizzling dishes with separate trivets, there really was barely enough room for 4 dinner plates, 2 trivets and 4 drinks glasses. We had booked the table several weeks in advance so were at a loss as to why we had been allocated such a table, when virtually every other party of 4 or more were seated at much more fit for purpose rectangular tables. We mentioned our dissatisfaction to one of the waiting staff, and within no time, a lady (manager maybe?) approached us and offered us another larger table in the other dining room, which fortunately for us had just been vacated. We therefore eventually had a great night and a very good meal in a comfortable environment. I’ve no issues at all with the staff who were courteous and accommodating throughout; but I have to question the policy of seating 4 diners at such small tables.
