Ship Inn – LancasterThe food at Lunesdale is strange. For some inexplicable reason there's an almost complete absence of sauce or Gravy and the veggies are tiny portions. So after eating my 2 starters with Chips with truffle and Parmesan I was quite disappointed because tiny quantities of intense flavours didn't resolve into a super lunch. The main courses are VERY EXPENSIVE so the appetizers or starters are the way to go. pity that the lunch wasn't properly balanced in flavour or accompaniments.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe both had the roast beef on Sunday afternoon which was the reason we had gone. The beef was sliced thinly making it easy to cut and there were lots of vegetables and gravy. The service was good and the atmosphere just right. The desserts were excellent and we were so glad we came again.
Trawden Arms – ColneExcellent family Sunday lunch. Lovely food and prompt quality service.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent food & drink. Friendly & professional service. Wonderful beers and the best choice of wine by the glass & bottle for miles around. What more could you ask for!

The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallHad a great family meal, service was brilliant, staff very attentive and extremely friendly and approachable. Prices are around average for this type of venue, perhaps a little lower than some.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWe visited Sunday morning breakfast. A warm welcome , customer service very good. The waitress took our order with a few tweeks of our own and she was very understanding. The breakfasts came, very well presented and really tasty. The coffee was extremely good and hot, sometimes a failure for lots of cafes.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonAgain another exceptional evening. New menu food amazing. Even better sitting at the bar watching the food being cooked. Well done Danny

Siena – RossendaleWe came here Saturday evening for a well deserved ‘date night’ and I’m so glad we did. We were sat at the chefs table, over looking the food being cooked which was a lovely touch. The food was incredible, the ambiance was perfect and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend you try it, for sure.
