The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAttended last night as a mixed age group for my husband’s birthday and we were all very impressed. We ordered the Anatolia Special mixed platter between 4 adults which was the perfect amount and absolutely delicious. My son chose the chicken nuggets from the children’s menu and also really enjoyed it. The staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful and very accommodating with my husband’s birthday cake. Great value for money also. We will be back! Highly recommend.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensOur first visit considering we live close, the staff made us welcome and showed us to our table, drinks and food excellent and nothing was to much trouble for all staff
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe visited this restaurant whilst staying near Ingleton. It has a lovely vibe and is a really nice mix between a traditional pub and a more modern restaurant. The service was friendly and everyone was very nice. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. We had 3 courses and wines/beers and everything we tried was delicious. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting this area.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleAmazing food and service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back. Great country pub!
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenI had a lovely meal with a friend and went for the Cheese Pie which was lovely and the second time I've had this dish, my friend had the Sunday Roast which he really enjoyed. The staff members are very friendly, the place clean and well-presented and it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Certainly recommended with a good menu and well priced meals and drinks.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnEight of us went for a Sunday evening meal and our booked table was all ready for us. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Drinks orders were taken straight away. It's hard to choose from such an extensive menu but once we'd ordered, the food arrived after only about 20 minutes. All our various dishes were freshly cooked, good quality, hot, nicely presented and happily consumed! We were asked on more than one occasion if everything was OK. Some of us managed to fit a pudding in and, again, they were all lovely and eagerly eaten. The Whitchaff has been very well refurbished fairly recently so the surroundings are fresh and pleasant. Unfortunately, we could not take advantage of their lovely outdoor area (which has stunning views) on that particular summer's evening because of the torrential rain. We have eaten at The Whitchaff many times and will continue to go there in the future as we cannot fault it for consistently good food.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThe meal at the Lunsdale was amazing . We have been once before and as we were in the area on holiday booked again . It was equally as good . The staff are very pleasant and wish it was nearer to us so we could come more often
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleGreat as always
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallOur first time at 3 Millstones. Excellent menu. Excellent Service and food. Also a very good separate vegetarian / vegan three course menu. A big plus.
3 Millstones Inn – Clitheroe5 star
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeWe visited recently for lunch and myself and my friend had a lovely meal. We were lucky enough to get a table by the big window and could enjoy the beautiful view. The food was gorgeous and its a lovely restaurant since it has been upgraded. The only thing I would say was we couldn't open the window as it was really hot and the staff member who served us was not very friendly which was a first as we are regulars and would not put us off returning as we love this place and come alot.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallKnown about this gem for some time but never visited as we prefer spontaneous nights out and previously unable to book at short notice. However, on this occasion we booked a table that afternoon (Saturday too), and have to say it was well worth the wait. So much so, we will definitely be back, even if we have to plan and book in advance. Loved the atmosphere, the staff were all very attentive, and the menu and specials were hard to choose from as it all sounded and looked divine. The food didn’t disappoint either, everything we had was so tasty, and if anything, the advice of 4 to 5 dishes between two is a little much as we ended up taking quite a bit home. Would highly recommend everything and will be back soon.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe had a meal here on Saturday early evening and it was delicious. The staff were very attentive and the venue is lovely. I would recommend anyone to eat here.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFabulous time on Saturday night before the cinema. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Definitely will be going back
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious. The only problem was choosing from such a wide range of interesting dishes! Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We were a little surprised at the cost of our non alcoholic drinks (sparkling water and black decaff coffee), but I suspect that's a symptom of the economic climate and prices of everything going up. Overall, excellent food in a very pleasant atmosphere. We will return!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAbsolutely fantastic and spicy haddock amazing can not wait for our next visit
