Great Food, Friendly staff couldn’t ask for anymore from a meal

Wonderful food, great service, lovely atmosphere. It’s one of our favourite restaurants.

The food was delightful, it always is. And the staff are always friendly.

Fabulous food and lovely atmosphere. food was fresh and tasty, vegan and GF diets catered for with none of the usual boring options. Good size portions served with good choice of sides definitely be coming again

We enjoyed another Sunday lunch last week. The welcome, the service and the delicious 3 courses were of the high standard we have come to expect from Bread and Butter. Always excellent.

We went for my husbands Birthday in the evening. The atmosphere was great. The food was excellent and the service was too. The staff always go the extra mile. They are always attentive and make everybody feel special.

Poor service, poor food with a poor price tag. So disappointed after hearing good reviews!

Went for steak night. Had a cheese soufflé for starters which was really good. Main course was steak. Had a bit of problem with it but professionally handled. Cheese board for dessert was an excellent choice of cheeses. Service was impeccable. Will be definitely going back (if they let us!).

I visited with a friend. Her meal was delicious, mine not so much. The chicken had no flavour at all, the potatoes were very hard and overcooked. The sauce for the chicken was also not good, very wishy-washy. My friend had a beef medalian dish with a pepper sauce and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a superb evening at The Lunesdale Arms. Amazing food, great atmosphere and decor and very welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. We will definitely be back soon. So nice to eat great food at an independent pub.
