Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterGreat environment. Very tasty food, just too much for us. Prawn Puris really good. Garlic and Lamb Rogan Josh also excellent. Rice and Paratha were maybe overkill. Friendly and helpful service.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterBustling place. Pity the bowling green has closed.
The Station Hotel – LancasterFirst visit to the area, we booked a table at the The Lunesdale Arms, and was made to feel very welcome as soon we stepped foot in the door by all front of house staff and even the locals, food was excellent, will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleA really unexpected find. We stopped by for a quick dinner. Amazingly atmospheric space, great choice of food and friendly staff. We mixed some small plates with a salad. Delicious and beautifully presented. Top marks.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleEnjoyed a lovely pre theatre meal. Great vegetarian and fish choices. Food was delicious and decent portion sizes. Service was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back
Toms Table – ClitheroeI’ve been here several times and always enjoyed it. Especially as I am vegan and the desserts are amazing. I brought my vegan daughter for afternoon tea and we both thought it was amazingly good. Just the right mix of sweet and savoury but we did have to take home some of the desserts as there was that much food. Excellent value for money in a great setting 5*
Whins Green KitchenAmazing every time. 5* food & service.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallCame on a Saturday afternoon and sat in a nice booth. Waitress was lovely and we were left in peace to enjoy our food and drinks. Food was very tasty and filled us up.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe had a brilliant meal here. The staff were friendly and attentive. My dog was super spoiled and there is a lovely atmosphere in the pub and beer garden. Absolutely delicious food too. We will definitely be back - can’t wait!
The Station Hotel – LancasterEnjoyable tea with the girls on a Saturday, a 1st, as we usually dine at lunchtime, Relaxing atmosphere, very nice food, and excellent service too. What more can you ask for? Thank you.
Whins Green KitchenWe had the best night last night! Fantastic greeting from the front of house, amazing service and the food was superb. We will be back!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWent on a Saturday afternoon, as my wife had just had a knee op, requested a table with good access, no problem was shown to a large table in the middle of the restaurant. Staff although young did a great job, The food ,homemade steak pie, with veg, and the gammon was lovely, no complaints, the real ale osset blonde was spot on, allinall a very pleasant experience. Only downside was that I was looking forward to trying the Baldy pies which are still advertised on the Web site, to be informed that they are no longer available, however the house pies weren't bad.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenVisited with my sister - her first visit, what was there not to love? Fabulous, tasty food, the staff were attentive and we really felt looked after, great atmosphere…. Yet again, can’t fault it….. will be back to bring in my 50s in May!!! Thank you!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallAn excellent evening. All food was first class and service from all staff was friendly cheerful and efficient.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleGood atmosphere, food was nice, staff very very friendly, but we ordered a bottle of expensive champagne and they came back with we haven’t got that one in stock but we’ve got an alternative but it’s dearer ! Exactly what I said they’d do as they done the same last time for which I wrote the same comment. It’s like they try to squeeze every penny out of you they can, for that reason I won’t be returning, but everything else was very good. Such a shame.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkA long time since we last visited. It has really been modernised. If we had known about the bar area we would have got there earlier for our predrinks. However you could tell we were on the peripheries of scouseland. Adults and kids in tracksuits playing games and watching sport on their phones. Not what you want later on a Saturday night, particularly as we have come from restaurants where they take your phone as you enter. That said, yhe main reason you ho is for the food and it was superb. Could not fault any of it. Delicious. We were warned about prices but I thought it was fair for the quality of food. Bring in a dress code after 1700 on a Friday & Saturday, control phones and we will be back
