Lovely food. Great service. Awesome views.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeExcellent pizzeria. A decent choice of starters and pizzas, including a couple of vegetarian options. The bases are thin and crispy and the toppings all excellent. This is one of the few pizza restaurants where my wife likes the pizzas (she prefers pasta usually). Food is all freshly prepared to order. Only downside is it can be a little noisy when full, due to the nature of the building, but it's not that much of an issue.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenHad a lovely evening. The food and service was excellent….Definitely on my list for future visits
Papa Luigis – ChorleyExcellent food, excellent service great atmosphere, what else can you ask from a restaurant. Had another lovely evening with friends and will certainly be booking a table again soon.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe had a great evening at the Lunesdale. The food is excellent and the service is very good. Everything was perfectly cooked and served. Thank you.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdalePizza are outstanding as usual. Forever accommodating with toppings easily interchangeable. Onion rings however are definitely shop bought and pale in comparison to the quality of chips and pizza. Would definitely come again but wouldn’t order the onion rings
No 61 Pizza – ChorleyHad a fantastic lunch at the Lunesdale Arms. Our first impression as we walked in was the lovely decor and the friendly staff. We all had three courses and enjoyed every mouthful of the delicious food. Service was outstanding too.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleExcellent food and good service. We definitely will be back.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnOur first lunch at Quattro's, after a number of evening visits. The service was excellent (it is always good to be recognised as a regular visitor), with small elements, such as the immediate replacement of a knapkin that had fallen to the floor, adding condiserably to the overall experience. The food was, as always, excellent, both in quality and quantity. Serving two starters as a main course presented no problems, and this continued with the dessert course, with an expertly prepared creme brulee. An enjoyable experience in what is becoming our go to everyday restaurant
Quattro’s – OrmskirkBeen a couple of times since the refurbishment, quite regular visitors. Had friends over from Yorkshire and took them for lunch. They were wowed by the menu choices. Had a fabulous lunch, food outstanding and lovely service. Will be visiting there soon
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThis place never fails to impress. Lovely friendly staff, nice atmosphere and food is always amazing....I almost don't want to leave a review in case I can't get a table, in future! My friend is veggie and she was making what I can only describe as "happy noises" when she was tucking into her veggie sarnie....she also rates it!
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe food is always great, the rotation of menus never fails. And Toms Table is always accommodating for tricky dietary requirements, even when the menu can't work. Service A+
Toms Table – ClitheroeAs always a great meal well served in a very pleasant atmosphere Highly recommended
Quattro’s – OrmskirkHad a lovely meal! Attention to detail was spot on. The vegan risotto was outstanding. Husband was very happy with his sea trout! Portion size and presentation were perfect!
Toms Table – ClitheroeLovely little find just off the high street. Nice little menu for lunch, will try evening next time. Great ambiance, very cosy place to eat and a lovely waiter to boot. Will definitely go again.
Toms Table – ClitheroeA superb old Methodist church venue and easy to book online (and to give extra details on the booking). Pay & Display at the rear of the building. Warm welcome from all the staff and our menus and drinks came quickly. No alcohol served due to the consecrated building but the bottle of Schloer was a good choice, especially cost. We also had a bottle of tap water on the table. The menu was extensive and it was difficult to choose from all the wonderful options. I stuck with Lamb Dansack with veggie pilau rice (1 portion will do 2 people easily!), there were 2 Chicken Tikka and I can't remember what my husband had but everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dish, all freshly cooked. Must mention that we had popadoms to start with, with chutneys, etc. there was one particular one, purple in colour, that we couldn't work out... it was the owner's signature chutney and it was delicious - not beetroot, as it looked, but sweet chilli. My son and husband thought it was hot but, for some reason, I didn’t at all. I couldn't get enough of it - I suggest bottling it!!! Everyone would buy a pot to take away with them, for sure! Nothing was too much trouble throughout the whole evening. It felt very special as we don't normally go out for a curry with my Mum. My only constructive suggestion would be to the 2 young waitresses. Relax! Enjoy yourself! It's easy for me to say, I know, but I did silver service waitressing at the Midland at your age, whilst at College. The more you relax and just treat us as everyday humans, the more your guests will relax and enjoy themselves, rather than feel apprehensive on your behalf. You are good at your jobs and you need to believe in yourselves. The warmth you'll get back from your guests will help you become as friendly and relaxed as the young waiter who took our order. Follow his example and you'll do well x At the end of the meal when we were actually bursting at our seams, they came over with a chocolate pudding with four spoons!!! As I'd mentioned on my booking that it was a special meal, they gave us this treat on the house xxxx It was my 55th Gotcha Day. My Mum adopted me 55 years ago so we celebrate it because I don't celebrate birthdays or Christmas as I’m one of Jehovah's Witnesses, so this was really, really special. My Mum and I polished it off and it was UTTERLY divine!!! Thank you for SUCH a lovely and memorable evening. We'll definitely come again.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterWe have eaten here a few times and have also been in just for a drink and to the Sunday night quiz. The atmosphere is always excellent with friendly staff and customers. The food is good quality and tasty, served piping hot as should be. Although not exactly local to us we will continue to visit wherever we can.
