Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyLovely staff and great food. We came for a few drinks on Sunday as we were camping nearby. The team were all very friendly and accommodating. Great gammon and egg too!

The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenHad a wonderful lunch sat in the sunshine. Made even more delightful with a live guitarist singing some cool tunes in the courtyard. The deluxe sharing board was delicious. As were the aperol spritz and cold beers. The staff were lovely and it was genuinely a perfect way to spend a couple of hours with my husband on a sunny bank holiday weekend.

We all chose something different and all were delighted with our choices. I had the gammon and can honestly say that it was the best I've ever had. Very lean, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Iam sure that we will be returning soon.
