Excellent food , service and price
The Traders Arms – BlackburnWe booked for our twins 18th Birthday. We couldn't be happier with the meal and service, thank you!!!!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent breakfast yesterday. Friendly service, local produce and delicious dishes. Consistently excellent.
Bread and Butter – PrestonI’ve pretty much tried every menu here and without a doubt the Sunday dinner 3 courses is our favourite. Value for money and very tasty. I ordered the beef dinner and although the beef is cooked just how I like it I would probably say you need to ask for it to be cooked to your own liking otherwise it may be a little too rare. The decor the service and location is excellent. We’ve tried the steak night too which is also good value and the bar menu and the tapas. If going for tapas I would order at least 5 dishes between two and go from there. The desserts are delicious so make sure you squeeze one in
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenFood excellent, both main and desert. Sticky toffee pudding had a distinct treacle taste which made this unique and special. However considering it was quiet, the service was not as previously experienced and very slow. The staff were pleasant though, albeit we were kept waiting between giving menus and ordering. Overall though worth it with the excellent food.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe would like to thank the Lunsdale staff for accomodating our family gathering which included 12 adults and 10 children, during a busy Sunday service. All the adults had the 'Sunday roast', which included a choice of beef, lamb, pork and chicken. Everyone said it was one of the best roast dinners they had tasted. Twenty two empty plates went back to the kitchen, that was praise indeed! The staff were helpful and friendly, again thank you!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleLovely attentive staff, delicious food
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe enjoyed the meal overall but I was disappointed to find that the Monkfish Wellington was also wrapped In meat. The menu needs to be clearer as I felt this was too stodgy with pastry and a pancake and meat with little fish (for a non meat eater ) My husband had beef which was nice but no horseradish Also the coffee machine wasn’t working so not available either !
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenExcellent service and food. Decor modern and chic. Cannot fault it and would highly recommend.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenFour of us dined here and all came away saying it was the best meal we've ever had. The food was incredible and had great options for vegetarians. Every member of staff was really attentive and friendly. The value for money is fantastic considering the quality of the food you're getting.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenThis was our second visit to the millstone. The food is excellent stuff. Also very good and efficient. When dealing with your request an excellent place to eat. We may even considering stopping For a night over sometime
3 Millstones Inn – Clitheroewe really enjoyed it - the venue and the food are lovely. The service was just a tad slow, we had to re-request a couple of things but all the team were lovely
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenWe availed ourselves of the Steak night offer, and as we had not eaten earlier in the day so we decided to book in at The Lunesdale for a late lunch/early dinner at 5 O'clock. We used the online booking which was simple and fuss free, a great bonus. The meal itself was accompanied by a bottle of superb Prosecco, and the Steak main course was preceded by our favourites of Crispy Squid, with sweet chilli sauce and cauliflower fritters, both of which were delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food, great staff, fabulous decor and the overall experience is first rate. The steaks were accompanied with pepper sauce and a salad just to our liking were very tasty and a generous portion. The service was first rate as always, with attentive staff and together with the fantastic decor, added to the overall ambience to make our evening most pleasurable. and one we most certainly intend to repeat very soon. Thank you so much for providing the high level of consistency, quality of food, friendliness of staff and creating a great dining experience that confirms your position of one of the very best places ( in fact our favourite) in the locality to spend an evening. Many thanks Kev and Maria
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleGreat atmosphere, but the food is the star. Absolutely delicious and perfect portion sizes. Love it at Papa Luigis.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyFirst time visit on a Thursday. We had the steak and wine offer which considering the size and quality of the steak was great value. The standard menu looks great and they now offer a Wellington night on a Wednesday, which may well be our next visit. In any case we’ve booked for a small group Xmas gathering in December. Can’t wait to return.
