Unfortunately we were disappointed due to such slow service. We have always had fantastic meals and service, hopefully just a one off. Maybe staff should be allocated to look after certain areas/tables?

The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallVery accommodating in changing our booking time. Good service and quality. The pizzas were especially delicious. The desserts were a little disappointing. The lemon cheesecake wasn't tangy enough, and the tiramisu didn't have enough coffee or alcohol. A good meal overall though
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFood was excellent and plenty of it . Staff very friendly and attentive Will definitely be returning as the menu is great with lots of variety
The Station Hotel – LancasterExcellent food and service for our Sunday lunch. Highly recommended.
Bread and Butter – PrestonFirst time for afternoon tea at Toms Table and we weren't disappointed. We went for option 2 with Prosecco - the food was delicious, a modern slant on afternoon tea - sticky chilli sausages, crunchy coronation chicken and smooth tomato and tarragon soup. Fingers sandwiches and gorgeous cakes were also included - macarons, mini lemon meringue and black forest cakes, totaly delicious. Unlimited tea and filter coffee was included with the tea alongside a comprehensive drinks and cocktail menu. Everything was outstanding as was the service - very attentive without being intrusive, warm and friendly without being over familiar. We will definitely return and would highly recommend a visit.
Toms Table – ClitheroeGreat service. Food delicious. Had avocado and crab starter, sea bass with zucchini, daphinois potatoes and spinach. Affogato with mirto to finish. Great wines.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGreat Food , Great Service and Great Prices. Took Mum for a surprise Birthday Lunch and chose The Traders Arms as they gave a good selection of food to suit everyone, and for Mum who doesn’t eat Veg or Dishes with Sauces or seasoning there was plenty of choice besides the usual Fish and Chips on offer at most places . We arrived to a warm welcome, the food was hot and delicious, although I was a little disappointed with just the 2 Sausages with the Sausage and Mash . Mum had the Scampi which came with chunky homemade chips and they accommodated Mums needs and swapped the Garden Peas for Beans. The Mint Aero Cheesecake was as equally delicious and we left full to bursting. We will definitely be back
The Traders Arms – Blackburn5 star

Toms Table – ClitheroeAmazing food last night. I had the meze board and the lamb shank with feta fries. Absolutely superb! Staff very attentive as well and kept us topped up with drinks. Definitely recommend
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeStarted with bruschetta alla pomodoro delicious flavours and followed with tagliatelle nettuno with king prawn perfectly cooked and flavoursome. Finished off with their heavenly mint choc chip ice cream. Bill reasonable - good value. Service fast and atmospheric.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyBeen 3 times now, food and service excellent. We are new to the area so trying different venues and this is one of the best. Lovely view from the beer garden too. Definitely book in advance
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent food, good surroundings and good service
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMost recently we visited Tom's Table as my husband's choice for his birthday dinner, because we'd enjoyed it so much on our first visit last year. Two very long bus rides later, because of the train strike, we arrived. Happily that first time wasn't a one-off and the food is still beautiful! Everything on the menu sounded appealing and everything we ate was cooked, seasoned and presented to perfection. The pork belly was falling apart, the soufflé light yet rich. We ate à la carte, but there's also an early bird menu that's outstanding value for money. The negronis were excellent and the wine list enticing. Service is warm and welcoming, efficient but not stuffy. And they provided a lovely extra for my husband's birthday. We'd definitely be eating here every week if we lived that bit closer.
Toms Table – ClitheroeCame for Sunday lunch on May 14th 2023. Have been very happy customers here for years. I am always grateful that I have food on my plate. However, lunch ("roast" lamb etc) was absolutely awful. Vegetables seemed pre-boiled or roasted and then warmed up. I suspect the lamb was prepared "sous-vide", which means the meat is actually poached in a plastic bag. There was an event going on, so why not put up a notice apologising and just serving coffee and ice-cream? I have to wonder if the business has changed hands. There was no sign of activity in the kitchen. A grim experience.
Bridge House Farm and Tea Room – LancasterGreat service, excellent food, this is why The Traders has a good reputation.
