Papa Luigis – ChorleyAs always, great service, amazing food and lovely atmosphere! Thank you!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallTraditional small cosy country pub, with real fires and is lovely decorated throughout. You are always spoilt for choice with the menus and these are set to accommodate most tastes. Price ranges to suit most budgets, even a 3 course currently for £20, 2 course for £15 on the set menu. Portions are on the smaller size, but I have eaten here many times and always felt full after 3 courses. I have not had a bad meal yet, although I did have a roast dinner once and the Yorkshire Pudding was too overdone for my personal taste. Service has always been very good and the staff are friendly. They do their utmost to make your visit a positive experience and nothing is too much trouble.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeWe have eaten here many times but it now feels like a canteen. The restaurant is dated and the service is poor. We had to ask multiple times for water and in the end had to go and get it ourselves! We had dirty plates building up between courses that were not cleared away and had to keep asking for cutlery. The staff were surly and rude. It wasn’t busy but they were just standing around chatting and not doing their job. As we had gone out for a birthday meal it ruined the day. We won’t be going again. I recommend that you spend your money elsewhere.
