Anatolia Grill – St HelensFabulous food. Large menu, lovely stuff wonderful atmosphere... love it
Papa Luigis – ChorleyGreat food and service! Ordered from the Grill Night menu and got 25% for ordering 2 meals from this menu. 2 of us had the tandoori chicken hanging kebab - this was delicious! Plenty of chicken with chips and flatbread and other had steak and chips. Overall delicious and would recommend.
The Waterwitch – LancasterOur 3rd visit to this little gem of a place this time for our anniversary. We went for the early bird menu this time but previously had the Wednesday steak night offer along with the al a carte which we’ve both throughly enjoyed. Menu changes over the season, great value, beautiful food brought out by friendly attentive waitresses. We always tell our friends about this place & they in turn have visited. As a little surprise when I booked online I just mentioned it was for our anniversary & we were surprised by a beautiful little cake to share elegantly presented on a wooden board with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate sauce, a lovely touch ending our meal with a big smile.
Toms Table – ClitheroeThis is the first time we’ve been to the Station Hotel in Caton & we weren’t disappointed as the food was pipping hot. We had a starter & a main meal but couldn’t manage a dessert as we were too full. We will definitely be returning to this Hotel
The Station Hotel – LancasterHaving been to Quattros many times previously it was the perfect spot to hold our colleagues retirement meal. Made contact with Lucie via email, booked the table and sent over the menu choices for our group. Our table was well positioned for a group, plenty of room to move round. Starters arrived promptly by polite and friendly staff. Starters and main meals were fairly substantial in size, lasagne was huge and very tasty, yet some people still found room for the yummy desserts!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkLovely atmosphere and friendly team. The food was great! Will definitely be returning soon!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMy favourite pizza place in the valley. Consistently great food and service.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenWhat a gorgeous renovation. Very classy decor, very warm and cosy and inviting. Sadly, this doesn’t extend to some of the staff. Greeted by a mature woman who was maybe the manager to be abruptly told our booking wasn’t on the paper planner. I offered to show her the booking confirmation, for her to state ‘I can see your booking on our system, that isn’t what I’m saying, some bright spark has transferred the booking to paper and it’s not on there’… We were then told a booth was free (6 adults). I said the booth wouldn’t work due to the size (at a push you’d get 2 adults and a child seated), she suggested a chair at the end !!. Eventually, somehow miracously, a larger table became available. Drinks arrived fairly quickly, the waitress was lovely and really helpful Altho she brought cutlery over and left all 6 sets at the end of her table ?!?.. the food was nice, tasty, hot and a good variety on the menu. Unfortunately, we could also overhear another situation with the same member of staff and a customer regarding a booking. Such a shame as the staff and service were fab before the renovation. Seems customer service and training needs attention to ensure repeat bookings keep the place busy. We will try again and see…..
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFood was fabulous, great atmosphere definitely worth a visit
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallEverything was amazing. Great location, great food, great staff!
Whins Green KitchenWe booked a table for 4 people on Sunday at 5pm.. it was very very busy.. ( so very noisy) but that did not affect the service.. the staff are very friendly & helpful, our meal was delicious & the plates were hot, we will definatly go again
Papa Luigis – ChorleyA very enjoyable lunch. 4 of us, 2 had the Sunday Roast one beef and one chicken both were delighted with the big plate full of tasty food. One Burger and chunky fries - a really good plate full and quite delicious. The cheese and onion pie and chips also went down very well although he wasn't too sure about gravy on his cheese and onion pie, would probably have preferred it without. The service was good, the food was good and the selection of ales was good!
Trawden Arms – ColneGreat food and great service by Gemma not even local and I’d travel again ha
Anatolia Grill – St HelensGreat Pizza, great place!
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenHad a really nice Sunday dinner here with my friend. We both got pork belly and loved it. I would definitely recommend booking as it was consistently busy when we went. Lovely little restaurant, and I really need to go and try tapas night!
