Wonderful food, excellent service, lovely balcony seats. However the music was very loud, and it was very hard to talk. Other than that excellent

A’Vucciria – Rawtenstall18.03.23 Food was amazing , service was prompt, didn't wait long for order to be taken, dishes taken away promptly and all staff were polite and attentive. Lasagne - larger than it looks Garlic bread - huge Unsure on the size difference between started and main on spaghetti bolognaise. Generous portions Wine price - very reasonable Price variation online to the menu which I think is misleading.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyThird awful experience on the run now. I’ve been going for years and it was always one of my favourites, but I won’t be going back again. Experiences below: 1) Ordered a take away for collection and specified a time. Got a text half an hour before to say it was ready to pick up, we were unable to do so as elsewhere, hence specifying a time as per the online ordering system. Collected it, at the time requested. Literally live a minute away, the whole lot was cold. 2) Went for a family meal. Placed at a long table with fixed benches at the back of the restaurant which wasn’t the comfiest, but wasn’t worth complaining about. Food was ok but the service was absolutely terrible….out of sight out of mind. 3) After going for so many years thought it may have been a bad night last time, so went again. Absolute nightmare. We were getting rushed to finish our complimentary bread and dips (which were lovely) as apparently the mains were ready. My friends was fine, but mine was cold so I sent it back only to get the chef come out and start shouting at me. I totally understood what he was saying, the dish is served on yogurt which is cold. However, the meat and sauce on top are supposed to be hot to balance that out…it was cold. Either way, shouting at your customers when the6 send back sub-standard food is unacceptable. I did notice an awful lot of take out orders going out and a few collections going on, so maybe that is putting extra pressure on the chefs. I don’t know, I can’t fault the serving staff and the meal itself, what I had if it, was delicious. It was just cold. Used to be a favourite. Won’t be going back again.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWe had a loverly first visit to Tom's Table last night, a loverly greeting on arrival, amazing food, loverly staff and perfect atmosphere would highly recommend and can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.
Toms Table – ClitheroeFood exceptional however I found the service a little poor, the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy and we felt a little rushed. Such a shame really, we didn’t leave feeling we had a great experience unlike their other competitors in the area.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGreat pub, good atmosphere, friendly staff always ready to help. Food good and service spot on. We will be returning.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnWasn’t blown away by the dining experience… highlight was we got HAND delivered are missing poppadoms, perhaps the waiter was new.. but crickey common sense is a fine thing. Food was ok, atmosphere and service definitely lacking.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterHad a fantastic time on Sat, 18th March. Food was incredibly tasty with lovely sized portions. Waitresses were very attentive and polite. Atmosphere was spot on, we will definately be back... seated on the mezzanine gave us a fab insight to a well oiled Italian restaurant.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallPub was lovely and lively, busy and nice atmosphere. Dogs welcome which was great. After ordering the waitress returned to inform us there was a 40 minute wait for food, this wasn’t an issue, happy to wait for good food (which unfortunately wasn’t the case). Ordered a variety of food - Rib eye steak, Dirty Harry burger and selection of starters and small plates for a couple of us to share. Food arrived and could immediately tell the steak was over cooked (ordered rare), it was completely charred and cooked through, we called the waitress over who said she would tell the chef. Another waitress returned to take the plate and get a fresh steak. The next steak was cooked better and tasted nice but very thin cut, soggy onion rings. Definitely quantity over quality. Burger was poor quality, didn’t appear like a fresh beef burger, compressed, dry and tasteless. Halloumi fries were way over cooked, dry and hollow. Spicy fish goujons were soggy, batter was thick and not cooked through. Loaded fries were not typically loaded fries, just tossed in Chinese 5 spice with some onion and pepper and way over priced at almost £8. We informed the waitress of the issues. The young waitress was very nice and apologised. They did offer free desserts but we didn’t want desserts given the quality of food, so had a coffee on the house. Unfortunately we won’t be returning for food given this experience and wouldn’t recommend. There is much better food locally for similar price. Such a shame as it would be lovely to utilise our local to dine out.

Toms Table – ClitheroeExcellent food and great service
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterDelicious food. Excellent service. A perfect evening out. I would highly recommend Saturday Night Street Food!
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonI couldn’t recommend Quattro’s enough to people. The staff here are lovely, welcoming and can’t do enough for you. It’s a nice relaxing environment, with a great variety of Italian dishes on the menu. It’s value for money is excellent, considering the quality of food, atmosphere & service. 10/10
