The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallVery nice family evening at Sydney’s. Last minute booking. The staff was very friendly and proactive in dealing with delays from the kitchen. The food was nice.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterWe booked a table for 7.15 and arrived a bit early, we did manage to get to our table for 7 but then we couldn't get the app to work to order our food. We were then told we had to wait 1.5 hours at least for food! All I could think was what I'd we'd had plans to continue our evening and go to the cinema or something? We'd have had no choice but to leave. We did however wait as we knew how good the food is. There was one guy running around trying to do everything and he was clearly stressed out and short with everyone who approached him. Which I can totally understand as it was packed! The food arrived and the chicken was cold but we'd ordered plenty so got on with the other bits whilst they sorted the chicken out. We're pretty easy going people so of course we would still return and the food was spot on taste wise. Plus they serve blue moon on tap, our fave beer! The doormen were lovely and attentive too. Probably just need to work on how they can continue to cater for so many tables without making them wait so long for food. To be honest, we saw takeaways being prepared, so surely you'd close down your takeaway service at busy times and concentrate on the guests who are in the restaurant and bar spending over £100 like we were! Just a suggestion! Also get more staff as the guy looked worn out and sick of his life last night. Poor fella.
Wings & Beer Co – PrestonAs usual the food is absolutely tasty, staff are lovely and very high thanks to the kitchen staff. Really nice atmosphere, I would recommend this place to anyone.
The Waterwitch – LancasterExcellent service all the staff were very friendly and efficient Food was excellent
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe have been comeing to you now for a while and never had a bad experience staff are wonderfully can't do enough for you so food is supper always hot and ready tasty thankyou to all of the staff made my birthday meal brill
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWhat can I say… lovely cosy pub with log burner. Staff are really friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and really top notch, not your usual pub grub. It was the perfect way to relax after the brisk circular walk along the river. Will definitely go again.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeTried for this first time in about 10 years and what a poor experience. Had to ask twice for someone to take our order, had to ask for a second drink. Starters arrived and they were nice however both mains were over cooked, partner complained and they re cooked him his fish dish but half of the old one came back and was warmed up!! Whilst we all sat with empty glasses again. Never not stayed in a restaurant for desert but left very quickly once the main was brought back warmed up. They did deal with the complaint well and didn’t charge for the fish but the night was ruined.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyExcellent restaurant. Staff are all lovely. We were booked in at 5 pm and the re was a great atmosphere even Earthquakes. Good value for money. Fabulous.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenLovely family dinner on a busy Saturday night. Attentive waiting team who were warm and friendly. The service and food were both good - we all enjoyed our evening and will go back next time I’m in Lancaster.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterReally enjoyed my experience at quattros the service and the food was excellent such a relaxing atmosphere the quality was outstanding, the bartender made you feel so welcome when you arrived and served you with a drink straight away set the night to a perfect evening.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkLovely food, but service wasn't the best. Had just finished our meals when a member of staff approached telling us we had to leave in 15 mins because they needed the table. Wouldn't mind but we booked for 12.45 and it said we had two hours, yet were asked to leave no later than 2.15? Friend also found two hairs in her pasta. Wouldn't recommend. Shame it used to be fab.
