Whins Green KitchenThis was my fourth visit here and it did not disappoint. Fabulous food - twice baked cheese soufflé was a triumph followed by the duck which was superb. Fantastic staff - nothing too much trouble. They even wrote out the cocktail ingredients as I loved it so much. Amazing place ! We will be back !
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe had a great night at Toms Table the food, service and atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely be back in the future!
Toms Table – ClitheroeLovely restaurant, very stylish bar area too. Food delicious & service good. Highly recommend!!!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAlways amazing! Excellent food, brilliant service great choice of beers.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAte early as they offer Tapas 2 for £10...really good deal. The food & service was great. Bottle of wine priced at £24 is normal but good quality. Only downside & this was our fault for not reading the prices, 2 glasses of wine extra were £8.50 each....bit steep...should've but another bottle! All in all ... we'll go again though.
Bread and Butter – PrestonNot been to Papas for many years but as my son is at Runshaw college nearby I took him for lunch. We certainly weren’t disappointed with our choice of restaurant. When the garlic bread with cheese arrived the aroma was incredible and we polished it off in no time. Our pizzas were also incredible and they certainly don’t scrimp on the toppings! Fantastic service, great price, we’ll be back on a regular basis.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyLovely food. Great atmosphere. Great lunchtime offer with loads of choices.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyDelicious and spoilt for choice. Delightful menu and tasted superb. Thankyou and I’ll be visiting again soon x
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonNice quality food if a somewhat limited choice. Pub was freezing due to heating failure. Could have put some portable heaters in. Staff were very nice and helpful.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeTop food, lovely atmosphere, staff fantastic.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeExcellent food- perfect service and a great atmosphere as always
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallYet another great experience at A’vucciria! They hosted a 30th birthday celebratory meal fantastically! Food & service was amazing as normal! Many thanks!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallBooked a table for 8pm and mentioned we had a gluten free diner. Upon arrival we stood at the sign saying wait to be seated for a minute, no one came so we asked the guy behind the bar, he told us to take a seat near the bar and someone would seat us. Waited for about 5 mins and we were then taken upstairs. I asked the waitress if they had a gluten free menu, she said they didn't but would come and tell us the options. We sat for about 10 mins and a different waitress came to ask us for our food order, we hadn't been told any gf options yet, so just ordered drinks. The first waitress came back with the drinks and asked if we were ready to order, she still hadn't told us about gf options. Once that was done my wife ordered the baked salad, with chicken option and asked for no onions due to an allergy. I got some of the small plates, the first dish arrived, we were then asked by a different waitress if our food was OK, when we only had one plate on the table. The rest of the food came a minute or two after. The salad my wife ordered came with no chicken on it and covered in onions. We then asked the waiter about this, and he said he'd check if we'd been charged for chicken. No apology or offer to replace it. Other than this the food was decent, if a little expensive for what you got. The service felt a little all over the place, with different waiters and waitresses trying hard, but it was very disjointed. Somewhat spoilt the visit. They were all polite and pleasant, but it looked like they were all either pretty new, or just not communicating who was doing what for each table. It might be better to visit when it's a little quieter, as they struggled a bit when there was a few dining tables in. Would consider returning for maybe the lunch menu, but I don't think I'd go for another evening meal.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterDisappointed and frustrated. We booked a table for last night as a treat following a number of non stop weeks. We've been here many times before and had amazing food and service, last night was so very different. Sat in the restaurant with coats on it was that cold, didn't help that the door was constantly being opened for take aways. It took a long time for staff to take our order and when our starters finally came they were cold. We had to ask for our bread and appetisers and when they came so did the starters. We were never checked on by staff throughout our stay. We had to wait and wait for our main meal, after waiting an hour we told them to cancel our order and voiced our disappointment and frustration. Many tables complained through out the time we were there, it was apparent the owner prioritised the uber takeaways than his restaurant customers. Once was our favourite restaurant has now turned into our worst. Will not be back !!!!
