Ellis’s – BurnleyIt was amazing, the flavours and freshness of the ingredients for the price are unbelievable. Food tasted like it should be 3 times more expensive. I was gob smacked.
Astoria – BurnleyFood was excellent.service was friendly. Only criticism is that on Friday Tapas Night there were no deserts on offer or Spanish red wines.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonWe booked a table on line , received confirmation of our time , got a reminder and even got another e mail on the day Yet when we arrived the restaurant had no details of our booking !!! We therefore had to wait for a table and then 3 of us were crammed onto a 2 person table because that was all they had available The food was fine , although service was a bit slow, but the booing issue really spoiled the occasion
Papa Luigis – ChorleyEverything was great. The staff amended a meal to suit dietary needs and provided an off menu meal for a fussy 3 year old. Crayons etc were provided for the kid and nobody stressed when he decorated the booth with stickers. The food itself was perfect. Meatball linguine and mushroom risotto were very good.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonLovely food, lovely staff, lovely atmosphere, waited to order a whole. Ordered more drinks and gave up due to the wait and cancelled them. Lovely restaurant though
Papa Luigis – ChorleyDidn't have my booking despite me having recieved a emeial confirmation, stuck us in the corner. Staff then proceeded to rearrange te tables near us for a large booking which was very noisy and disruptive. With tables so close together we couldn't get out quick enough before a large party decended on us. Food wasn't at the standard I'd expect for the price compared so similar priced restaurants . Our 1st visit but we won't be going back.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyGreat food, a real meat lovers treat!! Nice clean restaurant, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonGreat food. Small venue with understandable booking policies as a result. People should see past that though and give the food a try. Kenanks is, and always has been a poor effort of this style of food. Ellis' is definately a step up from that.
Ellis’s – BurnleyVery attentive staff despite having a lot of diners - food served really fast and absolutely delicious looking forward to returning
Astoria – BurnleyLovely venue and lovely food

The Station Hotel – LancasterGreat canal side pub, excellent food and dog friendly
The Waterwitch – LancasterMet by friendly waiter. Lovely decor in restaurant. Served quickly, waiter bit miserable and stern. Food excellent, with great choice. Excellent value for money. Not been for a while and impressed with the changes. Will visit again.
