Papa Luigis – ChorleyI really love this place and have eaten both the lunch and dinner menus. The hummus wrap is amazing and the sharing fishboard is the best thing,!!! The service is great and it has a friendly, culled vibe that leads to a great dining experience.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterWhen we go on holiday we like to try restaurants. We try the first, love it a lot, and then continue to try others until we realise we should have stuck with the first one. So, we learnt from this and living down the valley from Rawtenstall we tried A'Vucciria and loved it. So much so that we haven't got round to trying the others. We go as often as we can, and take family and friends to let them enjoy all the delights on offer. Everyone leaves with a smile and a full belly. This trip was with our Besties, who have travelled from Manchester and Preston. As usual, A'Vucciria was the food destination, and as usual it was busy, but not intrusive. The staff were great, the Manager is so friendly and honest. The food is excellent, and the choice is more than enough to satisfy all tastes, and we still haven't tried everything. I do feel sorry for the other restaurants in Rawtenstall as we tried this one first, and being so fabulous, we haven't gone anywhere else, yet. Although having learnt from many holidays, why would we?
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFirst time here for lunch on the 24/5/22. Gorgeous ambience, attentive and professional staff. Star of the show was the food absolutely delicious. Fantastic presentation , great choice , tasted amazing. Best meal that my husband and I have had in a long while. Will be back .
Toms Table – ClitheroePopped in for Sunday lunch, very busy but service really good, kept informed of food arrival and food was excellent and good value for money, happy days
The Station Hotel – LancasterI had read an excellent review about Trawden and it said the Trawden Arms food was fabulous, especially the Slow Cooked Beef Sunday lunch. It did not disappoint. We went for the first time yesterday Sunday 22/05/22 and it was very quiet, but a lovely young man came over straight away called Jay and he showed us to our table. Other people then started coming in. He was really nice and we had a bit of banter with him, which he took in the spirit it was given. The starters were really nice and generous. We had all ordered the Roast Beef Sunday lunch. It was the best Sunday lunch we have had and we have had a few. Everything about it was amazing. The chef came to our table and thanked us for the comments we had given to Jay. We also had dessert because a proper dessert (in my opinion) Crumble with custard was also excellent. We will definitely go again and I personally am hoping that the Goosberry crumble was on the menu. It is a MUST to eat there.

The Station Hotel – LancasterWe had pre booked a table as we were coming by boat and the weather forecast was unsettled. Glad we did as it was busy when we arrived for a Saturday lunch.
