My wife and I had a lovely lunch at Tom's Table. Everything was perfect from the welcome on arrival to the fabulous (and very reasonable) food. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend it highly. When in or around Clitheroe it is well worth a visit.

I went to the Lodge with two friends on 13/11/21. We arrived at 7 and nobody came near our table to offer us a drink for at least 20 minutes. When they came they asked what we wanted to eat and were oblivious that nobody had taken a drinks order. At 7.35 we still had no drinks, and had to get up and approach a staff member about this (we ordered a bottle so nothing that takes long to prep). The food was alright and although it was a while between courses we enjoyed it. It was difficult to get anyone to come back to order more drinks. There were 2 big parties in so I don't mind things being a bit slower because it is busy but there's no excuse for not even taking our orders etc. A shame the service wasn't great. Staff were polite when we did speak to them and someone did apologise at the end of the evening that it had been busy, no such updates during the evening though.

This is perhaps the best value for money lunch in the county if not the country. I have paid twice as much for food half as good

Visited on the 17th November for an intimate meal. Service 10/10 including one of the lovely people turning the lights up temporarily for us to read the menu. Attentive, caring and sincere. Food exceptional, classic French dishes and some starters with a twist. My pudding Autumn fruit mousse was beautiful. Relaxed atmosphere and yes we’ll be back but just enough to keep it special.

Went with a couple of friends for a nice meal on wednesday and had such a lovely time! all the staff were nice and the food was amazing! we hadn’t been in for a couple of years, since they’ve redecorated, and it’s so beautiful inside. definitely going back

Food was great-service was fast and very professional-cannot fault this restaurant and very reasonably priced. We will be back.

I organised a retirement meal for a colleague at The Ginger Bistro. All attendees had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious, the venue itself really gorgeous (great photos) and the staff went out of their way to look after our group. Will definitely be returning, Thankyou

Food was fabulous. Five of us had three courses each and all were delicious. Atmosphere was good. Staff very helpful and prompt. Would highly recommend

Lovely rack of lamb, cod, STP and ice cream. First class as always. Excellent work from Gabriel! Booked us into the quieter Piano room next visit.

Had a lovely meal at the lodge .7 of us in the group for a Birthday tea ,everybody enjoyed the food , the service was realy good particularly the young man that was taking our menus and generally assisting with all our needs .his name was william so thankyou very much to him and the young lady that was also waiting on ...very helpful.

Cracking find, great value, great staff and dog friendly. Immense.

I went for a family meal last week and it was the first time I’d been. I got a carbonara and cheesy garlic bread as I usually get from an Italian and it was probably one of the best Ive tasted. I went back less than a week later cause I had to show my partner and he was just as satisfied. Absolutely amazing and lovely staff. My new favourite Italian definitely

The whole family said their food was lovely, no complaints on that. The same as last time we visited when we ordered a bottle of wine the manager came over and said that one wasn’t in stock but this other one was and charged us £6 dearer. Also didn’t get one smile off any staff from the moment we walked in the door, very unwelcoming and absolutely no emotion on any of them. They have the girls run off there feet and by looking at the girls reactions they didn’t like the way they were treated. Advice Learn some social skills and smile making guests feel comfortable and relaxed is a huge part of the enjoymenti of going for a meal, Not just the food and the MONEY !!!

Family meal- great food

A’vuccuria never disappoints. The new dishes on the menu were wonderful. The monkfish is officially a new favourite and the sauce with the ribs is next level!! Finished off with a panna cotta with the perfect amount of wobble. Lovely to be back.
