The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe have been here for brunch a few times now, the food is always freshly cooked to order with good portion sizes. The chefs make an effort to personally make sure you have enjoyed your visit. A lovely find, nice as quite small so does not get too busy- advisable to pre book. We will certainly be going here again.
Bread and Butter – PrestonAnother fantastic meal at the Sultan. We visited for the first time last week and enjoyed the food and hospitality so much we brought our family this week. Ash and his team out did themselves with the service and OMG the food just kept on coming. Dishes were cooked to order with everything being hot and fresh when served not one complaint from any of our party. When you receive good food and great service the bill is irrelevant and worth every penny however for information we paid about £15 a head which is fantastic value considering what we had. If you are looking for a a good curry do yourself a favour and give the Sultan a shout I am sure you wont be disappointed. We used Sugarvine for both our bookings which did give peace of mind that we would get a table but to be fair there is plenty of space if you didn't pre-book.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterI went for the oysters followed by jumbo prawns and a side of fritters. All accompanied by a glass of white recommended by the manager. F&B was fresh, delectable and cooked with love. Highly recommend and 5* across the board. Thx
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWent just before Christmas so it was busy but they managed to accomodate us in a booth looking out across the lovely countryside. I can't fault the food or service but what was slightly overbearing was the noise level. I know it was Christmas so there was much merry making but I think it would be like that if full on any day - I was envious of my wife being able to turn her hearing aid down. It requires something to absorb the sound - probably on the ceiling as this appears to be the only surcace you would be able to put anything. Would it stop me from going again? Certainly not but I would have to go when its a little less busy if possible.
Whins Green KitchenQuality fresh food that tastes fantastic every time.
Whins Green KitchenHad the Christmas special, the salmon starter was devine just loved it, cream cheese with smoked salmon, served with salad and bread soldiers, would have loved a few more as there was so much salmon. Turkey main course was nice, stuffing and pigs blankets were fab and good quality. The Turkey and roast potatoes were good. Vegetables were fresh not frozen, would have loved a carrot to add a spot of colour. Overall I was pleased with the meal. This was my second visit would go again.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyWe haven’t been for over a year . And most definitely not as good as it used to be. Part of the gammon was undercooked and we informed the waiter, although he was lovely he just said Oh! Cheese pie was disappointing as it was just like melted cheese with a pastry on top. Service was excellent but food fine down in my opinion.
The Station Hotel – LancasterExcellent meal last night! Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and the service was great. Looking forward to another visit already
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFantastic service and food was amazing!! First visit here but will definitely be back with my family
Anatolia Grill – St HelensGreat service, great food I would like to see a big Christmas tree so I can take a picture with my wife
Quattro’s – OrmskirkBest seafood risotto!!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkMy wife and I were at your restaurant on 21/12/21 were were seated by a large all male table which was fine except for their disgusting language . We asked to move stating to the waitress the reason why . We ordered starters and mains which were of excellent quality . However another group of four diners on the next table were arguing amongst themselves using an array of offensive four letter words . Enough was enough I promptly demanded they curb their language as I did not want to hear it neither did my wife . They obliged and fairly quickly left the restaurant but it spoiled what we thought was to be a nice evening . A shame because the food and service were very good . It’s not acceptable for fellow diners to call order on anti social behaviour in a restaurant .
Anatolia Grill – St HelensHad dinner recently with friends. The 3 course festive menu was excellent and great value for money. Good wine at a great price. Great atmosphere and service. It’s good to have an excellent local restaurant. Will get my continued support.
