Had a lovely evening yesterday at the Astoria. The food and service was excellent and will definitely be eating there again. I highly recommend this place for it’s service, food and value for money.

Astoria – BurnleyJust incredible, Amy really looked after us. The food was outstanding and it’s definitely the best restaurant in the area. We will be coming back very soon. Thank you
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallHad a superb meal in a friendly and comfortable setting. Attentive & courteous staff. Not the cheapest place about but you get what you pay for. We will be back.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWent for the Carol singing and had a meal while we there. The pub was decorated beautifully for Christmas, the log fire was on and it had a fabulous ambience. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much bother for them and Jamie and Rebecca the landlords are very much front of house ensuring their customers are happy. The food was amazing, we eat here quite often and have never been disappointed. It’s also a fabulous atmosphere to just pop in for a quick drink too. Dogs welcome in the bar area, lovely beer garden/outside dining area. Our favourite local.
Black Bull Inn – BlackburnExcellent quality Italian with great service
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent meal excellent service super friendly staff. It’s all vegan how great is that you get a full menu with everything you could want on it. Starters mains and sweets . We had the Christmas menu which was two courses for £19 had the mushroom Pate and we could not resist the burger it is to die for. A note on people saying it’s to expensive I don’t know if anyone has noticed everywhere you eat is expensive these days. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Fingers crossed going to go for a spa day with afternoon lunch in new year. Thank you Whins Green Kitchen.
Whins Green KitchenAs always food was excellent (2 sandwiches with seasoned fries!) Hog roast at Xmas market was to die for! My only comment is that the waitress should know what the soup of the day is and what sandwiches aren’t available BEFORE she comes to take an order. I know things will change in the New Year. Ryan does an amazing job, well done
Bread and Butter – PrestonHad a wonderful evening enjoying the early bird set menu with friends. Food, service, atmosphere all faultless. They even brought us a complimentary extra dessert as we were celebrating an engagement. We will definitely be back soon!
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe had scallops and mushrooms to start , duck and lamb shank for main and white chocolate cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Toms Table – ClitheroeSorry the place was cold due to the door being open. And wasn’t very comfortable to sit in the cold. Nice place though. The service is good The sea bass and rice was very small for £20.00 pounds sorry.

A’Vucciria – RawtenstallHad a lovely evening catching up with friends not seen for over a year. The food from the Christmas menu was excellent. Served nice and hot and was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive but not annoyingly so. It was very busy but was set out well to keep reasonable distance between tables. Under present covid circumstances it was good to feel safe and to see a hospitality venue doing well.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonThis was our First visit to this place which was recommended to us and won’t be our last! The food was superb and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, polite, informative & attentive. The whole evening was fabulous from start to finish. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
