Toms Table – ClitheroeTook my meatalicious loving girlfriend to this establishment and only upon arrival did she realise that it was a meat free zone. I myself am an avid vegan, however, somehow this vegan and meat-a-holic love story seems to work. The meat eater went for the meat free burger, I gasped when she announced this was her decision as I thought a meat substitute would simply offend her. If I was on death row my final meal would be some form of Mexican food, so naturally, I landed on the enchiladas! My lover the meat lover stated “wow, this is actually really good. I’m impressed”. I don’t feel she needed to use the word “actually” … although I’ll let that slide. My enchiladas exceeded expectation on every front, they were spine tinglingly good. The extra addition of avo went down a treat too. All in all, a superb set up for vegetarians, vegans and meat lovers alike.
Whins Green KitchenWe had a superb meal last evening. Fabulous atmosphere and service and great value for money. We would have liked a larger selection of beers maybe an IPA or a fraught beer would have been ideal - we appreciate that may not be possible for draught beer. Thank you and we will be back.
Toms Table – ClitheroeFantastic meal as ever, regular visitor and it is always great. Best Cheese and onion pie!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnGreat quality food , fast efficient service lovely atmosphere
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeUnfortunately, I had a very disappointing dining experience here on Saturday night. When my dessert was served to me, the waitress accidentally spilt the coffee and liquor from my ice cream dessert all over me. She was apologetic and I was concerned that she was ok as I appreciated it was an accident. I asked for some warm water and a cloth, which was brought to me, and I then went to the toilet and cleaned my dress as best I could. A little later the waiter asked if me if I was Ok and I told him my dress was wet - he didn’t reply but turned around to deal with other customers. I was shocked by this and disappointed that he didn’t give me the consideration or courtesy that I had shown his waitress. I rang them today and spoke to the waiter who turned out to be management and explained that out of courtesy I would have expected them to at least offer a complimentary drink or my dessert but he said he’s sorry that I expected this. So, poor customer service, lack of courtesy on the night and when given the opportunity to right the wrong still no offer of anything complimentary for the future! My birthday meal with friends was spoilt and I then had to go home to get changed before going out for cocktails as planned. A huge inconvenience to me - they only appeared to be interested in the large bill being paid and serving other customers in their very busy restaurant.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGreat food, service and atmosphere.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkBeautiful restaurant and lovely friendly staff . My only gripe would be if your paying £29 for a sirloin steak you wouldn’t expect McDonald’s type fries.more substantial homemade chips would have been far better! I personally had the partridge which was beautiful . Wish I’d ordered side dishes ie vegetables/potatoes etc as they were all additional and this wasn’t explained to me . This is as much my fault as the restaurant’s for not reading the menu correctly.
