Lovely food
The Waterwitch – LancasterHad the Sunday lunch which I've had a few times before including pre lockdown. Always excellent quality and service very good. My very slight picky points are that I preferred the pate the way it used to be served previously in the pot with the sourdough bread. I appreciate it probably cost more but I would pay it. The current toasted bread slices are too small and not as good. Also would like a touch more gravy with the roast. But as I say very minor points taking it down to 9.75 out of 10. Overall it is a fantastic pub/restaurant and would highly recommend.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnThis the third time that we have been here and it certainly won't be the last, the food is amazing not had anything that we didn't like and the staff are so friendly and happy to help. The views certainly help too We can honestly not recommend this highly enough
Whins Green KitchenWent on a Sunday lunchtime. All 3 of us thought the food, service and price excellent. We have found a gem of a place and we will certainly be back. Well done
The Dog Inn – BlackburnGreat service, friendly staff and good food, always enjoy a visit to the Astoria
Astoria – BurnleyFabulous vegan breakfast and oat milk with mixed berries smoothie .. top quality and all well cooked as you would expect for the price . Will DEFINITELY BE GOING AGAIN ! Lovely toilets beautifully dressed . Views as you sit overlooking the gorgeous countryside and incredible !
Whins Green KitchenHad a fabulous meal on Saturday night 6pm staff so helpful and the food was just amazing many thanks great service
Anatolia Grill – St HelensI enjoy dining here, food and ambiance generally is great, however, I’m always disappointed with the attitude of the head staff toward the waiting on staff, and the lack of friendly welcome given to customers. We had head waiter followed by 3 young waitresses in a row, each asking if we where happy with food! customer service and attitude to staff in front of customers needs improving upon-or I’ll stop going.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkLovely meal to celebrate my sons A level results. Food was delicious and the service was great especially the younger staff , very polite and helpful.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyGreat atmosphere and food.
Astoria – BurnleyLovely food, lovely location, lovely people. Reasonable prices. Shame about the small size portion of the sausage and mash.
The Waterwitch – LancasterWe booked on line and got a nice. Greeting when we got there , the man and young lady work very well together, brilliant customer service, the food was excellent best Indian meal I have ever had, wish I lived nearer would be there regular. I highly recommend would give 5 star plus . Well done and beautiful setting too.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterHad a great meal, great service Could not fault anything Thankyou
Quattro’s – OrmskirkThank you for such a beautiful place in such peaceful surroundings to dine. I have been to Whins kitchen on many occasions and enjoyed your beautiful food and serene atmosphere and in view to my many positive experiences I decided to make a planned booking. Unfortunately, I am really sorry to say my experience had been extremely disappointing with the food and despite booking in advance. My friend and I had been celebrating a very special occasion and had wishes in the main to experience Whins kitchen to make a future plan for her family to try . We had booked a window seated area in the main to enhance our experience. During the time spent we had to be seated else where to accommodate other customers, on completing our meal making ourselves very uncomfortable, feeling the rush to leave. The mature male server made ourselves feel very under valued and had been quite rude in his non verbal ways to communicating. This had been a shame as this had taken the joy away to dine at whins making the experience more like a canteen, service being quickly in and the processed quickly out. The food has always been above excellence at whins kitchen and staff have always been very welcoming , this particular occasion the mature server seemed very stressed and dismissive to our food comments concerning the vegan pizza presenting as under cooked. I am personally disappointed , as Whins kitchen has always been extremely excellent, in both the service and the food being second to no other in the area. I am more disappointed as i actually booked in advance and maybe I was expecting something special. Thank you for taking my comments on board and hope they can be helpful towards management.
