Perfect! Food is always amazing, went first time this year and been going constantly ever since! Staff are always helpful and friendly, nothing to much trouble for them! Will be going there again very soon :).

We were due to have our Christmas dinner at the restaurant however due to the pandemic this wasn't possible. Jamie & the team hand prepared it and delivered it to our door, absolutely beautiful, so easy with full instructions. The food never disappoints and is always top notch. Cant wait for the restaurant to reopen.

really nice food, staff very friendly. very nice place to eat. the complimentary starter was very nice. had the sharing plater for 2 and was more than enough. the lamb was delicious. definitely will return .

2 excellent takeaway meals from the Taj. All very tasty and fresh and dishes I'd not had before.

Up to your usual fantastic standard.

We stopped coming here, as the menu seemed diluted with too many non-mediterranean cuisines, and the quality of food was sporadic. However, we returned this week, and had a lovely experience. Food was tasty and fresh, the set menu was great for our kids; and we really enjoyed the pared-back decor. We would definitely come back. The kids declared the thin crust pizzas the best they had ever had (and I would agree). Good food, done well. My only gripe? the broccoli was so overcooked that it was mushy, but the rest of the veg was very well cooked.

Went for dinner before lockdown, meal was as always fantastic also top marks to all the staff.

The food is always amazing, such a good choice for vegetarians and the cauliflower roast dinner is to die for! Always a friendly welcome in a professional yet relaxed environment with a beautiful view overlooking the Darwen Moors. I will never not recommend this place.

Found out a friend had a live slot on the Sunday so used the website to book a table. To say the food was lovely would be an understatement. It was absolutely fantastic. Even my very picky missus and girls found something to fully enjoy. To add to that when my other half had a seizure, all the staff and management were honestly concerned and wanted to make sure she was okay. So a massive thank you to all at the Lodge. We will definitely be back. 11/10.
