The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAmazing pizza, lovely atmosphere and staff are faltless! Thank you for another fantastic visit!
Astoria – Burnley14 of us dined together last Saturday evening 8th February. It was a very enjoyable experience. The team were very welcoming as we arrived. Pre-dinner drinks were served very promptly. We were a fairly large party but all food, starters, mains and puddings were served very quickly and the quality of the food was excellent. The ambience of the restaurant is great: modern but intimate. We will certainly return!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonBeen several times throughout 2019 and recently feb 2020 excellent standard in all areas. Highly recommended.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeFantastic food, great location. Food took ages to come, but worth the wait. Downsides. Atmosphere ermmmmm say dim the lightning and make the room where we sat cosy IE. Carpet instead of laminate maybe table cloths with centre piece candle. Snug i guess. But we'll be back! Best fish n chips EVER!
The Dog Inn – BlackburnI have been coming up to Burnley to watch Arsenal at Turf Moor for a number of years. Our supper at Astoria last week was our first visit and it was the best meal we have had in the town, good service, excellent choice of high quality tapas, perfectly cooked pizza and reasonable prices. Thank you.
Astoria – BurnleyGreat post match supper at Astoria - very tasty tapas and pizza, well presented and with very friendly service - and great value - will be back regularly!
Astoria – BurnleyWent for a family meal and as always the experience started the moment we entered. Greeted with a happy face, got some drinks in and were shown our table. Sounds quick but they explained that a large party were due soon and we had children so they thought it better to sit down and get fed. The food and service was excellent and we all left content.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyI have been dining at Papa Luigis for over 30 years. Excellent food, excellent location, ample parking, friendly and efficient staff. I could not recommend a better restaurant in the area as I have yet to find one!
Papa Luigis – ChorleyHave eaten a few times here now - had the Sunday lunch was great value yet again , great service too
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallSecond visit - took the clan for a family meal , very good food a friendly staff , if I were to be picky it would be a time thing but no complaints , nice place , good food , a welcome venue to the town
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonFantastic meal excellent service. We had a lovely family meal.
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallAbsolutely fantastic. I loved the whole experience. The wine was lovely and the food was amazing. Highly recommended.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFirst and definitely not our last visit. Excellent food and service. The staff were helpful and cheerfull. We had good fun and a good laugh even when the staff changed half way through our meal. Well done Tiger lounge staff
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonAlthough we had a lovely time, I just felt the menu wasn't very clear. We asked and got told that the fish, meat, pastas were all mains but when they arrived it was tapas style. I got prawns which even though I got told they came in shells just found weren't the tasiest I've had. The cheese garlic bread and my friends pizza was lovely though. My other friends 'main' was well over 20 mins later than the rest of the food and had obviously been forgotten about until we asked. The staff were very helpful and the service was good. I will definitely try again as now its a little more clearer, the menu and the pizzas were delicious.
Astoria – BurnleyLovely location, attentive team members, clean and tidy. A great wine selection and menu (although coming back to sample the food) The atmosphere inside is welcoming and the views amazing.
The Canal Turn – CarnforthDear Dean( Restaurant Manager), My wife Janet and I thoroughly enjoyed the recent Burns Supper on Saturday, 25th January. It was a masterstroke having the piper playing various Scottish tunes up at the nearby Lancaster Castle. ( might be an option to have the lad playing 30-40 mins rather than a full hour). Being piped down into the Kings Arms Hotel was fantastic, food and drinks service, and met a lovely couple called Dudley and Brenda. The food and drinks all well received, although I could have a lot more haggis initially! It was a nice touch being offerd a cocktail, but unfortunately had to pass as I was running a fell race the following morning in Kendal! Perhaps a toast to the Haggis, and a short speech on the Immortal Memory of Rabbie Burns. Congratulations on the inaugural Burns Supper by the Kings Arms Hotel. Alan and Janet Wyllie
The Brasserie – LancasterLovely food great service definitely will be returning
