Astoria – BurnleyWent for lunch with my daughter. Food was great Had scallops to start that were scrumptious. Chose seabass for mains. Lovely but spoilt for me by a very under done duck egg.maybe thats how it was supposed to be but as it was far too snotty it leaked all over the plate spoiling the rest of the meal. My daughter however enjoyed a fantastic fillet steak.Staff great and friendly. Sun deck out back great so much so that in all we spent 8 hours there.

Quattro’s – OrmskirkNow my 3rd visit and the experience gets worse every time! How can anyone invest so much money into a place and do it so well and then just leave it to run by a team of totally clueless staff. The staff set the experience . We booked for 11am… When we arrived were told run out of bread you can wait until staff member gets back from the shop or try something else. After 15 mins tried something else sausage and egg barm. Can’t really get that wrong but came looking like a bit of a dog’s breakfast. Waited 14 mins for a coffee… Had to ask for the bill twice… For us it’s a great spot and fits in with a nice walk… Who ever owns this place get a grip !
