Site Pizzeria – TodmordenWe come to Papas at least once a week, the staff are fabulous. We always receive a warm welcome and the food is superb.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyI asked whether the veggie satay had mushrooms ( I’m not allergic but they upset my stomach) and was told it hadn’t, when it arrived it contained mushrooms, the waitress was very apologetic, she took it away and they quickly made a fresh one without mushrooms. It was delicious and they took it off the bill. We all make mistakes, it’s how they’re dealt with that matters, so I was quite happy. We were asked if we had any allergies so hopefully if that had been the case the chef would have been informed
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat food, great service as always. Would highly recommend B&B.
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe food is fantastic, good choices brilliant value especially for us pensioners. The staff and atmosphere is amazing

3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeNestled along the picturesque canal in Lancaster, the Water Witch Restaurant is a hidden gem that beautifully combines a serene atmosphere with top-notch dining. From the moment you step inside, you are enveloped in a warm, inviting ambiance that perfectly complements the stunning views of the waterway outside. Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Water Witch is truly enchanting. With its rustic decor, soft lighting, and large windows offering views of the canal, diners can enjoy a relaxing meal while watching boats glide by. Whether you’re seated indoors or on the charming outdoor terrace, the setting is perfect for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings with friends. The gentle sound of water and the occasional chirp of birds create a tranquil backdrop that enhances the overall experience. Food The menu at Water Witch is a celebration of flavors, featuring a delightful mix of traditional and modern dishes. Each plate is crafted with care, showcasing fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I highly recommend starting with the artisanal bread and local cheese platter—a perfect way to whet your appetite. For the main course, the grilled fish of the day was cooked to perfection, flaky and flavorful, while the vegetarian options are equally impressive, bursting with seasonal vegetables and creative flair. Don’t forget to save room for dessert; the homemade sticky toffee pudding is a must-try! Staff Service The service at Water Witch is exemplary. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Our server took the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. It’s clear that the team takes pride in providing excellent service, making every guest feel valued and appreciated. Value for Money When it comes to value for money, Water Witch stands out. The quality of the food, combined with the lovely setting and attentive service, makes it well worth the price.
