The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFirst and definitely not our last visit. Excellent food and service. The staff were helpful and cheerfull. We had good fun and a good laugh even when the staff changed half way through our meal. Well done Tiger lounge staff
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonAlthough we had a lovely time, I just felt the menu wasn't very clear. We asked and got told that the fish, meat, pastas were all mains but when they arrived it was tapas style. I got prawns which even though I got told they came in shells just found weren't the tasiest I've had. The cheese garlic bread and my friends pizza was lovely though. My other friends 'main' was well over 20 mins later than the rest of the food and had obviously been forgotten about until we asked. The staff were very helpful and the service was good. I will definitely try again as now its a little more clearer, the menu and the pizzas were delicious.
Astoria – BurnleyLovely location, attentive team members, clean and tidy. A great wine selection and menu (although coming back to sample the food) The atmosphere inside is welcoming and the views amazing.
The Canal Turn – CarnforthDear Dean( Restaurant Manager), My wife Janet and I thoroughly enjoyed the recent Burns Supper on Saturday, 25th January. It was a masterstroke having the piper playing various Scottish tunes up at the nearby Lancaster Castle. ( might be an option to have the lad playing 30-40 mins rather than a full hour). Being piped down into the Kings Arms Hotel was fantastic, food and drinks service, and met a lovely couple called Dudley and Brenda. The food and drinks all well received, although I could have a lot more haggis initially! It was a nice touch being offerd a cocktail, but unfortunately had to pass as I was running a fell race the following morning in Kendal! Perhaps a toast to the Haggis, and a short speech on the Immortal Memory of Rabbie Burns. Congratulations on the inaugural Burns Supper by the Kings Arms Hotel. Alan and Janet Wyllie
The Brasserie – LancasterLovely food great service definitely will be returning
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonI had a very pleasant lunch with a friend. The menu was short and simple but gave us sufficient choices. We would both return on a future occasion
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeFirst time eating here. It won’t be the last! 40% off food during January too, but not a reduction in quality so it seems. Service was a little slow because it was busy, but all the staff were friendly
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonGorgeous place with food to match!
Luciano’s At The Millstone – ChorleyExcellent food and service. Great value for money. Looking forward to another visit
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe went in to The Dog for the special Burns night menu on Saturday evening. As ever, all courses were absolutely delicious. It is a real treat to have a 'gourmet' restaurant on our doorstep.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnFood and service was brilliant New chips are amazing We had burger To.emade it was heaven Will defenatly be going back
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonThe staff were friendly and accommodating. The glassware was beautiful and the restaurant is clean and well decorated. Their menu was misspelled in several places and the maple parsnips were so underdone no one could eat them. When we told the waitress the chef fobbed her off with a frankly ridiculous explanation and they were triple cooked and the maple syrup made them hard. There’s a big difference between cooked crispy hard and solid raw in the middle hard. The place was empty apart from one other quiet customer and the waitresses were absent for large amounts of time, our meals were practically gone before we managed to tell anyone about our uneaten parsnips. Still, we had a good evening all the same.
The Brasserie – LancasterWe visit many times because the bistro is fantastic.service, food, menus, and ambience simply the best.cant wait for another visit very soon.please try it it's great.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFabulous setting and the staff were helpful and catered for our needs. We loved the food and will definitely be back!!
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonI’m quite convinced employees at sultans are writing fake reviews! From the names to the similar language it’s hilarious- especially considering the reality of sultans restaurant. The food was good- very good at a push. But the service has been horrendous two of the three times I’ve been there- once I can excuse but twice a year apart indicates that this restaurant needs to take a look at its mamangement. On both occasions I saw people walk out due to their orders not being taken (45 minutes for the one this year). We had to wait 15 minutes for a table despite booking days in advance, had to remind the waitress of each drink sepearatly, she brought them over one at a time and forgot to give us our rice, and two of us didn’t get plates and had to wait 10 minutes for them. I felt horrendous for the staff as on both occasions it has been fairly busy and they are obviously ill trained, and there is only 2 of them to bus tables, take orders and serve food- totally a management issue! No one even apologised to us for all the hassle. The first time I went there, was however very lovely- I should hope so as we were the only diners in the restaurant that time!
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterHaving visited before with a friend, it was great to introduce my family to the warm, relaxed atmosphere and delicious food at the Dog Inn. Staff extremely friendly. One of our favourite places to eat, which isn't too far to travel.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnThis was my 4th visit to Astoria and the food and service have been excellent every time. I highly recommend this place :-)
