The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe came on our Xmas do last Friday 28 of us. Sat upstairs staff friendly and efficient however a couple of issues that we felt worth a mention. The cost per head was £24.99 and we felt a bit steep for what we got food/drink wise compared to the normal menu. Our cabaret was changed from a comedian/singer to a DJ on the night for some reason but more importantly than that which is worth a mention was the fact that all and sundry can come upstairs regardless of whether they have paid £24.99 or zilch and be allowed to sit amongst the private parties ? A couple of our group went to the loo and came back to find a group of lads sat at their table? Maybe have a private section for functions? Just a thought? Surely when you have paid extra there should be extra perks?
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallBeen here 3 times now. Food is beautiful, tried a variety and all has been fantastic. Cocktails are lovely and are strong and great quality, a lot of effort put in. The only thing I could possibly say is the arrival of food as it sometimes comes in bits and bats when we asked for it to come all together even if we have to wait longer. Will definitely be going back and I recommend to everyone.
Tiger Lounge – AccringtonWent for the first time and have to say we will be back. The food was very nice and served lovely.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnWent for the first time and have to say we will be back. The food was very nice and served lovely.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnInteresting menu, lovely food, very friendly service, but rather slow as restaurant was completely full. Be prepared to wait and enjoy! Will definitely be returning.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonService was poor and we struggled to get staff attention so we didn’t spend as much as we might if we’d managed to get more drinks.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe visited the restaurant for my son's 16th birthday. The food was delicious & hot, with a great choice available from the menu. The atmosphere was lively & the waiting staff were friendly & helpful. It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyService was good; the food was very good, some lovely dishes. Felt the drinks were pricey.
Astoria – BurnleyA really cool and stylish addition to the Preston scene. 4 areas to choose from in terms of seating all different vibes. Restaurant upstairs. Food good too and I really enjoyed their double hopped beer.
Plau Gin & Beer House – PrestonExcellent food and fantastic staff. It was a large table of 24 and they got every order right, even with special requirements. It took 20 minutes to get everyone's food out which was frustrating but other than that it was brilliant. Highly recommend.
The Brasserie – LancasterThis honestly was THE worst Christmas party we have ever had. The menu served was disappointing and not as described online. We paid £24.99 each to be given canapes featuring stale bread and "Tiger Treats" that included hard vegetables in a previously frozen giant Yorkshire pudding. The staff didn't know what we being served when asked and we had to wait over an hour between courses and nearly 30 minutes for drinks. We had to ask for our used plates to be taken away but we were told that someone else would do it. Guess what, they didn't!... so we were served our dessert of a shot glass of trifle, on a table full of dirty plates. Replenished knives have forks would have also been welcomed. Sadly we were seated in a small corridor next to the ladies toilets so we couldn't really experience the promised party atmosphere but it looked fun. I rarely complain but the food and service we experienced here so was awful that I have since called the restaurant. Surprisingly they seemed quite happy with what we were served. They did call back to offer a Party Tree to our group by way of an apology but safe to say, we won't be back.
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallSuperb Christmas menu. Fabulous personal attention.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnChristmas meal with my wife. As usual the food and service was excellent, the staff are efficient and friendly which makes dining here a pleasant experience
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAnother great meal at the Ginger Bistro. We have consistently received excellent friendly service and delicious food. Having been there about a dozen trips now and they have never failed to delight!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAmazing food, great service and lovely atmosphere! Can’t wait to return!
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallI booked a table for 3 on friday 13th Dec on their website at 11am, 1st for 7pm then 6pm, both times were available, i got a confirmation email to say all booked, I thought great because the staff and the food is always brilliant!! Anyway i get a phone call about 1pm saying they don't have a table now due to the website being faulty, but they can offer a table for 2 but not a 3!! how daft is that when the person i was talking to could see i had booked a table for 3 people!! i don't think the 3rd person( my daughter) would appreciate me saying to her oh sorry you cant come now cos there is only a table for 2 available, when that night was a celebration on her getting into Liverpool University!!. Anyway we managed to book somewhere else and have a good evening!! Papa Luigis's please sort out your website, we are a regular at your restaurant and we do enjoy your atmosphere & food.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyGreat food! We pre ordered Christmas dinner and it was really high quality, delicious and very reasonably priced! Service was slightly slower but that was understandable as it was very busy.
