The Dog Inn – BlackburnExcellent food excellent service. I would definitely recommend.
Astoria – BurnleyWhat an absolute gem this place is, just fabulous and I can say the best meal I've had in a very long time. 4 of us went on a Thursday night and had a wonderful evening with such flavoursome food locally sourced and great service in this historic and tastefully decorated pub. Keep up the good work everyone, we shall be back and we've already recommended you to lots of people.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnThe Hinds Head is one of our favourite restaurants in the area and so when asked to arrange dinner for 15 of us attending a work seminar I had no hesitation in booking The Hinds Head. Considering the number of people being catered for everything came out of the kitchen hot and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and there were certainly no complaints. The service was up to it's usual standard with the staff being attentive without being overbearing. Thanks.
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyI have been to Ginger twice in the last 3 weeks for an evening meal. The menu is varied, The food is superb and the service is excellent. I would recommend this venue, but remember to book .
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonI went very early and the first person there. The waitress sat me by the window in the corner - a really nice seating place for someone on their own. I had looked at the menu online and already decided what I wanted but the menu I was handed didn't have the dish on it but when I mentioned this to the head waiter he arranged for me to have it. I thought the service was really good, and made to feel very comfortable. The food was really nice. I only had one dish. I would definitely come back again.
The Brasserie – LancasterLunchtime meal for 2 midweek in December. We found there to be a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were polite and professional. We both had the oriental duck stir fry followed by sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream both of which were delicious. On paying the bill we commented that it was both of our birthdays and were sent over a complimentary prosecco. Now that's what I call excellent service. We will definitely return.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe had a meeting at The Brasserie with teas and coffee followed by a really lovely lunch. The service was excellent, the venue beautiful and the food delicious. Thank you for having us.
The Brasserie – LancasterWe went on Saturday night, 6 of us. One of which was daft enough not to have the steak. Nothing wrong with the non steak options, but the steaks are award winning. Love this place for a special night out.
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeLarge family group went Sunday for xmas meal. Service fantastic and the meal was delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we will definitely be returning thank you
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyLarge family group went Sunday for xmas meal. Service fantastic and the meal was delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we will definitely be returning thank you
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyI took my parents out for Sunday lunch and booked a table. Sadly the table was in the draft of the automatic doors so constantly a very cold breeze on our feet. We all opted for the roast beef dinner. The vegetables were very hard, more than Al dente and we told the waitress..... But she never came back to us with anything. Not tasty and generally a disappointing meal. The live music was a lovely touch but far too loud for a dining room that size. Is there really any need for an amplifier?!? After having our plates cleared we waited 15 minutes and no sign of any staff. We even got up and put our coats on, still no staff around. Eventually found a staff member to request the bill. Simple things have let you down.
The Brasserie – Lancaster5 star across the board. The atmosphere, food, service and overall value for money were top quality. The staff were extremely accommodating on a busy night and couldn’t have been more pleasant.
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallI’ve been to the Tiger Lounge in Rawtenstall many times for cocktails, on this occasion we went for food too. I was expecting the usual great service, however, we had 2 drinks sent to us incorrectly, waited for 45 minutes between courses for us having to ask where our food was - we were then told it was sent to a different table. When the food came it was nice but we felt disappointed by the whole evening. I would go again to give them another chance but not when it’s so busy as it felt like the staff couldn’t cope
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallAmazing manager, staff, food and atmosphere! Love it
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallMy friends and I, had the most wonderful experience and meal at Astoria last night. The staff, were very friendly, professional, and attentive. They took into consideration my food allergies, and same with my friends. The atmosphere of the entire venue, was electric. Everybody seemed to be having a great night, and live music later in the evening. We will definitely be coming again. And dont even get me started on the quality of the food!it was extremely delicious. Those chickpea fritters are a little taste of heaven on the tongue. See you again soon.
Astoria – BurnleySuper meal & great staff
