Astoria – BurnleyThis is the second time I have visited the Ginger Bistro. Menu, music, service all good, although I thought the portion size for the vegetarian burger was small for the price. My friend wasn't very complimentary about the barbecue sauce. We would probably go again, although only when the offer is on (before 6 p.m. during weekdays).
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonNever tasted the food. Booked online for a Sunday teatime. Arrived plenty of time for food and drinks. When we arrived the restaurant was shut? I regular customer informed us it was closed
The Dog Inn – BlackburnHolidaying from SUSSEX it was a rainy day and we googled a pub near us and a canal. What a find this was. A very warm welcome food to die for and a view of the canal. If your this way don’t miss the opportunity to visit. Thourghally reccomemdef
The Canal Turn – CarnforthVery friendly staff. Roast beautifully presented . Delicious limoncello mousse dessert. My beef was fine but my wife found hers difficult to cut and rather chewy. On reflection should have mentioned it. Menu was extensive and very tempting. Will definitely revisit
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyWonderful! Sublime food and faultless service. A lovely, well planned and balanced menu is complimented by daily specials. Well worth visiting.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonThanks for a lovely Sunday roast today, we had a lovely time with your friendly staff.
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyWe were made to feel very welcome, the food was ok but not the best steak we have ever eaten. the car park needs some attention as I ran over a large stone and have split the front skirt of my car,
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeAgain, we had a delicious meal, whilst joined by another two of our friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and look forward to our next visit.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFantastic food and service
Fighting Cocks Inn – BurnleyGreat night for my birthday. The food was delicious an hot..the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly .we will definitely be visiting soon .Thankyou to all for a perfect night from all of us x
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallIt is the fourth time we have visited and had a meal. The food is first class. Unfortunately on our last visit (we were a party of 6) the restaurant was extremely noisy. There was a party of 6 young people and they were shouting and being silly amongst themselves. We did mention it to one of staff and they said they would tell them to be quiet but he didn’t even go over to them. Also one of the lads was sat in his dirty work clothes which is really unacceptable in a restaurant. I get that people are entitled to enjoy themselves, but there should a certain level of decorum.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnWe had a table for 4 on Friday lunchtime. Two of us had pie of the day which was lamb and mint. It came in a pot with puff pastry topping and was extremely tasty with the lamb cooked to juicy tenderness. One of our party had the sirloin steak which I understand was excellent and the other had the fish pie which was quickly eaten and said to be very good. Food was fab and although the chips were good, I've had better ones elsewhere. The staff and service were faultless. The pub is in a lovely setting with great views and outside tables although it was too windy for us to eat outside on the day. It was surprisingly quiet in the restaurant with only two other tables occupied. Aside the chips there is nothing I would change and will definitely return.
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeCan not fault this restaurant. The food was of amazing quality and the staff could not do enough for you. We had a 2 year old with us and did not have to wait long for our food at all. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The Hinds Head at Charnock Richard – ChorleyVisited on 31st August. Lovely atmosphere, food was brilliant, we weren't rushed and staff are helpful and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definately be back. Well done!
Astoria – BurnleyBooked a table with the intention of eating a meal. We went in and were seated straight away. This place is an old nightclub and it's pretty much the same as it used to be. I'd have expected some changes inside but there's nothing. The menu looked a little pretentious and after seeing other people's plates and the prices I decided not to order food. Portions are small and prices are not. The waiting staff were great and very polite and friendly.
Astoria – BurnleyWe visited on Wednesday 28th as a group of four and had a great night. Food was very good, favourites were beer battered cauliflower and beef in Yorkshire pudding , all tasted better with the 40% off food offer. Busy evening with a great atmosphere. Service very good.
Tiger Lounge – RawtenstallGood food. Good service and lovely little bistro. Worth a visit
