I booked this for our evening meal via their website. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly throughout. The quality of the food was amazing and one of the best meals we’ve have had. The Pork belly was delicious. Reasonable price too. Highly recommended. Can’t recommend enough. Amazing.

The Dog Inn – BlackburnThe new revamped Lodge at Slyne , did not have The Cod dish on the Menu for that day that I ordered and I had to change it to the Braised Lamb Dish which was not very nice, so I should have ordered Fish and Chip with Mushy Peas, The Dessert that I Ordered was Apple and Rhubarb Crumble but I had to send it back because The crumble was made with nuts and oats and I don't like nuts, I tried a small amount and I felt sick, so I changed it for Sticky Toffee Pudding, The item I like the best was A drink Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic Water.
The Lodge – LancasterBeautiful location, delicious food. Good options for myself with gluten dairy and soya intolerence. The staff are helpful and information regarding ingredients, always consulting the chef. Friendly service.

Whins Green KitchenStaff very helpful when you’re able to get their attention. Mother very pleased due to there being no garlic in the soup! BLT very tasty but not very imaginative. Deserts are a delight! Do intend to visit and try the breakfast menu. Dogs welcome to sit outdoors which is a bonus!

The Dog Inn – BlackburnWe had the specials menu which is great value for money. The starters however are quite old fashioned and could do with an update. The service was friendly but quite hectic and disorganised. We were sat down, waited 15 mins to order a drink (which we had to ask to do... they weren't busy), the food arrived but there wasn't any cutlery... again we had to ask. The owner didn't seem to oversee the staff. We will return but not for a while. Lovely decor, especially since the renovation.
