Really nice fish and chips and also delicious potato fritters. They also do proper "Cod" rather than pangasius. Big flaky chunks in crunch moist batter. A proper "Old school" chippy !!

Ilex Chippy – RawtenstallMy wife and I have visited The Tearooms quite often on a weekend, we have always eaten the All Day Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Staff are very pleasant and the food is cooked to a high standard, no grease at all. The cakes are excellent too!!!
Cariad Coffee House and Tearoom – Kirkby Lonsdale15 August 2014, ordered king prawn and chicken chow mein received BURNT chicken and noodles smothered in sauce!! Disgusting!!! When I went back I got a lot of attitude instead! Refused to give my full money back never trust them again!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RUDE OWNER.
Milton Street Chippy – AccringtonThe experience we had at this restaurant was exceptional. From walking through the door to walking out we were looked after having all our needs met. The friendly efficient and professional staff were wonderful. Now for the food SUPERB .We could not believe the quality presentation and eye for detail for the money we paid. We eat out regularly and this restaurant is now at the top of our list. The only downside is that we live an hour and a half away across the border ,yes I am loath to say it to Lancashire we cannot compete with you. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough you really have to go .
Trattoria San Marco – PrestonMy wife (Jeanne) and myself stopped at the Edisford Bridge on our way back from St Annes. We enjoyed excellent meals, the quality of the food and service was top notch. Jeanne gave it 10 out of 10 which is not like her, she normally has some complaints. The garden was also a nice place to enjoy a after meal drink. We would both highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly call again. Alan/ / Jeanne
Edisford Bridge Hotel – ClitheroeGood food real clean eatery, never left to struggle with plates or glasses. FANTASTIC PRO ACTIVE and lovely staffers Great Managers 6/08/14. THANKYOU for the 23rd Birthday Surprise and Treat for my Special Son [and myself ]xxxxxx It was so touchingly kind thankyou Nandos.
Nando’s – PrestonI noticed when reading your reviews of this restaurant that they mostly relate to the original Thyme restaurant which was superb and not to the present Pub Grub which is certainly not in that category !! Would you please make it clear that the Thyme restaurant closed in 2010 and the present pub opened at least one year later.
The Sirloin Inn – PrestonHad lunch at your restaurant today and I have to say I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the dining area; the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks The food was just ordinary. Compared with a Harvester restaurant I had lunch in earlier in the week, the food was not good value. I'm not surprised it was almost empty. The Harvester was full! With your position; in a lovely country village, in the heart of the Ribble Valley, equal distance between the City of Preston and Blackburn, at the height of the holidays, you should be full!
Windmill Hotel – BlackburnI went to Sycamore Farm last week for the first time. The food was marvellous, and plenty of it. I will be going again.
Sycamore Farm – BurnleyGreat food, simple menu of british classics with great open fires and service to match.
The Highwayman – Kirkby LonsdaleHad a lovely evening at Tinos to celebrate my retirement. All the staff were excellent, the food delicious and the service very good. We all had a great night. thank you xx
Tinos – PrestonOn 16th July 2014 the lovely people at Great Land held a Cantonese Banquet for Prostate Cancer UK< raising £1650 (so far)https://www.justgiving.com/TheGreatLandCharityBanquet-BB7-9AU/; The 12 course banquet was stunning, top quality and second to none - They have been consistently top caterers since they opened 25 years ago - we can attest to that - have been going all those years. Thank you all.
Great Land Cantonese Restaurant – ClitheroeI didn't like the food or the service. Waitress was unfriendly and staff seemed overwhelmed by a party of 16. Would not recommend. Don.
Monte Cristo – AccringtonWent into the Yew Tree on Saturday after seeing a movie at the nearby Vue, been in before, but it was a while ago. It's been done up since the last visit ,very nice too. The food was great and good value and a nice pint. The waitress Beth was lovely, polite and efficient, and we didn't have to Walt long for meal at all. We visited at 7.30 pm and we will definitely visit again soon .
Yew Tree Inn – PrestonCustomer Kerry called and was told very politely and I apologized that her address was out of our peak time delivery area as she lives 6 miles away from Cocos Express. We endeavour to fulfil all orders as promptly as possible.
Cocos Express Soul Food – PrestonWas not happy with the service we received, staff were uncourteous and only one starter was edible - rest of meal was cold.
Willows Restaurant @ Barton Grange Garden Centre – PrestonThey do not deliver unless it suits them! DO NOT GO HERE Waste your time ordering then they refuse your order!!!!
Cocos Express Soul Food – PrestonExcellent home cooked food. The Landlord and his wife are both chefs and take a great pride in the quality. Rib-eye steak is recommended. The pub also has some top class traditional beers and even sells a traditional Mild. It isn't expensive either.
