Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyReally nice restaurant in the middle of Clitheroe, good mid week deals although we went for the a la carte … food excellent and service great as well ..portions good sizes and good variety on menu Would definitely recommend
Toms Table – ClitheroeThe food was good, vegan sausage and chips and very crispy freshly cooked onion rings. friendly atmosphere, welcoming for dogs. The bar was deserted for a while which meant drinks were slow , poss short staffed? But all good other than that. A little pricey but I know times are tough for pubs and restaurants these days.
Trawden Arms – ColneAmazing food and service as always !! I was delighted to see that my all time fave Site pizza - spiced sweet potato with gorgonzola was on the specials menu after a long absence and Matt certainly did it proud 11/10 !! Special mention to the lovely Jess who has been a fab manager over the last few years - glad that we got to be there on her last wkd , and for her tasty cheesecake - she will be missed .
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenLovely, friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Delicious food at a very reasonable price.
Papa Luigis – ChorleySteak night with a bottle of wine for his birthday… well yes please! Great service, choice of steaks and sauces and a lovely bottle of house red to accompany the meal. All for £40 and gorgeous melt in the mouth steak. Could’ve done with some onion rings, but our server asked chef who assured us that’s getting added to the sides listings. We’re local but previous tasty food here felt like the best option when it coincided with the birthday too. New manager who made a point of introducing herself to us, nice touch! We’ll defo be going back.
Ship Inn – LancasterOur second Sunday Lunch at Tom's Table was as rewarding as the first visit (a fortuitous, unplanned find!) The food is truly delectable and such good value for three delicious, well portioned courses ....served by happy, friendly staff. We had actually been undercharged but alerted staff to this error because the food and service was excellent and we wanted to pay the proper price. Look forward to our next visit - taking young children so will have the opportunity for them to try out the children's menu.
Toms Table – Clitheroewe have looked forward to going Tom's table for a while after hearing it is supposed to be good, we like to make our own minds up tho!! However upon arrival the staff were extremely friendly welcoming and fantastic, the food itself was well worth what the price, very tasty and loved every bit of it!! from the chipolata snacks we shared to my ham hock starter which was delicious and my steak and peppercorn sauce for main (There was more than plenty of the sauce but it was that good i wanted more and more). I couldn't fault a thing we even made space for a pud. Highly recommend to anybody!! We will definitely look forward to coming again!! Thankyou!!
Toms Table – ClitheroeIt was a meal for my immediate family to celebrate my 80th birthday and everything was as excellent as I could have wished! It’s not the cheapest place around but worth the extra and I’ve made myself a promise to go more often.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFood is good value on the early bird menu the veg could be cooked a little more only just warm. The cutlery should be checked before laying on the table some food on the fork. Also when at the end of a day staff should check for any broken glass on the floor we found a large piece of glass at the side of our table. Luckily we handed the glass to the waiter good job nobody put their foot on it. Otherwise would go back quick service.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFantastic as always
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallVisited at lunch time with 4 adults and 2 children. The food was excellent but let down by a lack of atmosphere and slow service. We were served by 4 different members of staff one of which was defensive and dismissive failing to create a friendly atmosphere. Food 5* but won’t be in a hurry to return.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenA wonderful Sunday Roast and the service was excellent.
The Whitchaff Inn – Rawtenstallexcellent food and service as always
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyExcellent tasty food, served quickly and with great service. Pleasantly good value for money too. Have been local but had not visited Verdes in around 12 years, pleased to see it's still a great spot!
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyVisited for Sunday lunch again yesterday. The food is great - a decent roast. The puddings are traditional in generous portions. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat in the area.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnA lovely Sunday lunch for a birthday. There was a good plateful and liked the 3 different options of meat, as sometimes there is usually only beef on offer at many places. There was a large selection of beers and other drinks. Service was good and though we had to wait little while to get our main, it wasn't a significant time, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be visiting again to try other things on the menu.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnWe visited bread and butter for my partners birthday on Sunday for brunch. The staff were so accommodating for us as we had a pram, she couldn’t offer more help for choosing a table which would work best for us. Both waitresses had a lovely demeanour and offered great service. The food arrived promptly and was really tasty, my partner said it was the best full breakfast he’s had for a while. Highly recommend- we will be visiting again.
