Very nice place a little expensive not a place to end the night but a place to start your night few cocktails and maybe a meal before hitting the rest of town. food is fab and definitely would reccommed people to try a few cocktails :))
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyFood excellent, service not up to standard. Went to the restaurant this weekend and was expecting a much higher standard than we received. Yes the food was excellent but the service definitely wasn't. I found the manager Vinny to be rude and ignorant of anyone that he didn't know, we asked for a drinks menu and after receiving it we ate and left the restaurant without drinks as no one came back to take our order! Vinny spent more time talking to the tables containing groups of girls and ignored everyone else. We asked for glasses of water at the beginning of the night and didn't get these so gave up, ate our food and left. It's a shame as the food is excellent.
Yu And You – BlackburnBest restaurant in Chorley! My family, friends and I regularly eat at the Italian Cottage. The menu caters for everyone's tastes at reasonable prices. They do a special 3 course meal deal on Thursday and Sundays as well as a pizza/pasta deal on Wednesdays. The service and friendliness of the staff are what makes it such a good place to eat. They always try and accommodate any requests you may have and nothing is too much trouble. My advice would be to book in advance as it is a very popular restaurant..
Italian Cottage – ChorleyExcellent meal, good service, pleasant ambience. Will visit again and can recommend.
Mezzo Restaurant & Bar – Prestonfood average, service bad, great for a mid week meal but wouldnt go for a weekend meal. Atmostphere could be improved if the public house underneath had music a little quieter.
Indian Harvest – RawtenstallEnjoyed a good meal here. Fish and chips and 'posh chilli'. Both were tasty and service was friendly. Great open fires, even one outside for the smokers!
Smiths Arms – PrestonThe most expensive and over rated resterautn every eat at. The Pizza kebab house down the road would be much better quality. Charging £50 for a take away for 2 people that tast disgusting is shocking. I will never eat at Nino's again, even though I have lived local for over 20 years and grown up with this restaurant...such a shame! PS the last 6 occasions have been disappointing and this is my last supper with you
Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallExcellent! Good food, nice atmosphere, made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door
Pendle Inn – BurnleyFirst time at the Clog & Billycock. Busy Sunday lunch and although we didn’t arrive until the back of two it was still pretty hectic. Didn’t need to wait long to get seated though and the young staff were friendly and efficient, despite the number of people there. Wife was gutted that Fish Pie wasn’t on the menu but she went for the Lancashire hotpot instead and was suitably mollified. I had the braised venison which hit the spot just right for a bracing Sunday in November. Nice pint of Thwaites Original too. I don’t think the interior is quite as appealing as their other place near Whalley, the Three Fishes, but that’s a minor quibble.
Clog and Billycock – BlackburnPub needs a lick of paint as its a bit grubby. Food is less than average , and would not recommend it .The cook/manager/owner did'nt want to know about our disappointing meals .Evening telegraphs 9/10 is way off the mark.
Hyndburn Bridge Hotel – AccringtonI booked my sons 8th birthday here and was very impressed so i booked a night cruise. They're adult cruises are a great laugh. We danced the night away. I will certainly return
Boatel Party Cruises – ChorleyReally friendly welcome and the staff are lovely.... Im there tomorrow night for my birthday meal....... really lovely food..... looking forward to my meal tomorrow night....... :)
La Vespa – ClitheroeWent on Saturday 10th Nov to celebrate my daughter's birthday. What a shambles, when we arrived we were told to go to a table look at the menu and then place our order at the bar, no one showed us to the table. Going back to the bar to order I was told they didn't take credit cards and the nearest cash point was across the square - it was but it was also out of order so I had to find another one - by the way it was pouring down so got well and truly soaked! The food arrived and my wife's fish was hardly cooked and my daughters liver was overcooked. When we complained we were told that they had asked us if everythnig was alright - they did but that was as they were serving the food and we hadn't even tasted it then. The new management don't seem to have got it right here and we are certainly not going back there.
The Village Inn – PrestonI have been to this venue several times and have always found it friendly and a warm enviroment. The food is very good and the service is most excellent .
Langroyd Hall Hotel – ColneFood exceptionally good, great value for money and presentation exellent. I have dined there twice, I am taking my two older grandchildren there for a birthday treat and will be a regular visitor in future. Tess
Yu Yuan City Chinese Restaurant – St HelensWhat a load of rubbish - pls post me as a bad review.
Sensible Sandwiches – PrestonThe best value best food. Service bit slow but well worth the wait, food on time but kept taking cutlery away and had to ask 4 more spoons more forks. Would recommend going back 4 sure .k.
