Raj Mahal – DarwenExcellent food, excellent service, you really can eat as much as you want, and it just keeps coming. Nothing too much trouble.Exceptional value for money
La Casa de Salsa – ChorleyI really didnt realise how good our local chinese was untill one night we tried a different local one, as chung seng was closed. I always phone my order in and it is always ready within 20 mins, the food is very fresh and tasty, and the prices are pretty good too.The night we tried another local chinese it went straight in the bin, it was too salty and greasy,So chung seng rules!
Chung Seng TakeAway – BlackburnThis is a nice pub I go to on a regular basis, nice atmosphere, nice decor and nice people and always good entertainment. Saw a band on there on Friday 13th, (omfg or something they were called) they were really good will watch out for them again. Like to keep up with the local talent! Nice food too.
The Martin Inn – OrmskirkReally sorry, but really didn't enjoy my meal or the wine. Partner enjoyed his but we wouldn't choose to go back. We both agreed that the best things was the garlic bread with cheese. My fungi ripieni was very dry and a little burned and the pizza lacked flavour. They took 20 minutes to offer a sweet after clearing the plates away - even though my partner has ordered off the set menu. The bill was also incorrect but we were just ready to leave by this point.
Tinos – PrestonTake away food very good , looking forward to eating in the restaurant ,Would recommend.................
Shapla Restaurant – BurnleyDelicious food gorgeous place recommended by my sister more people need to go x x
Jim’s Vegetarian Restaurant – ColneWent for the Friday night steak special plus a free bottle of wine. Food was ok but the steaks tasted cheap and prefrozen, but i guess you get what you pay for. Sweets were lovely and ale was good. A bit better than your normal two for one grub but not exceptional. Ok for a cheap meal but not for a celebration. 7/10
The Lock & Quay – ChorleyThis is the best Indian in the Chorley area at the moment by far. We visit here on a regular basis. The food is exceptional and the service is friendly and welcoming. Chicken is perfect, not your average cheap chicken that a lot of curry houses serve. The Chicken madras is beautiful. Try this place, you won't be disappointed!
The Hyatt – ChorleyThis is your average two for one meal pub. Ideal if you are on a budget. However you get what you pay for and the food is average at best. It is typical prefrozen and cheap tasting.Avoid on a special occassion.
Hartwood The – ChorleyI absolutely LOVE this Italian restaurant. Really relaxing surroundings and very pleasant staff. I have never had a better pizza anywhere else and would recommend the Spaghetti House to even the most hard to please diner - you will not be disappointed!! Even though I never sampled the desserts they looked absolutely amazing and next time I visit I may just try one!
Spaghetti House Restaurant – LancasterWent to Northcote recently and I am sorry to say my friend and I were rather disappointed, we had been to Kenny Atkinson at the Orangary at Rockliffe Hall and were blown away by the complex flavours and were looking forward to a Michelin star meal to beat this. But....whilst the presentation was second to none the flavours just weren't there with almost all the courses, no 'Oh wow' punches in your mouth...enticing you to try different combinations of flavours of what was on the plate as we had done at Kenny's place....it was....well...nice. Such a shame the food didn't quite get there for us but the staff were attentive and helpful and we had a lovely evening.
Northcote – BlackburnI have been to la vespa many times over the past 12 months and tried many different dishes and the food is always fantastic no matter how busy or quiet it is .The staff are very friendly and service is fantastic been to all the restaurants in clitheroe and this one is the best by far . KERRY
La Vespa – ClitheroeI've now held 4 events at this venue, 2 wine tasting days, 1 beer tasting evening and 1 sherry & tapas night. The tapas are out of this world and make our events so special. The staff are very helpful, firendly and attentive. Great atmosphere too. if you love good food and a great atmoshpere then this is the place to eat in Preston!
Duk-Pond – PrestonHad the Graduation set menu earlier today 7 July. 5 people Could not fault it for the price. Nice surroundings, good choice on each course, food great, free glass of bubbly, friendly efficient service. Will go again next time we are in Preston. Give it a try you are to unlikely to be disappointed.
Tinos – PrestonWent to bentley wood farm for lunch today for the umpteenth time. It has recently been done up and looks very smart. The food was excellent as usual and our usual waitress Linda was bright and cheerful as ever, as were all the staff.
Bentley Wood Farm – Harvester – Burnleyfour of us went down on saturday, nice place and atmosphere but was surprised to find only one barstaff.two of us had starters, black pudding and the chefs pate which both were deemed delicious.the only thing i wasnt impressed with were the main the tbone for 12 quid wouldnt have fed my child with the ammount of meat and was tasteless and chips were soft and fatty, not for me at all.hubby said the fish was super and would eat again.my friend ordered butterfly chicken with cajun, but wasnt even spicy so maybe extra care on the meat front, out of ten id give a 4 n possibly would go again just to see if it was just a one off .
O’Marley – BlackburnI took my wife for a surprise birthday dinner and she was thrilled. The preparation and presentation of the food was memorable. Indeed, everything about the evening - from the table linen to the toilets - was of a good standard. Fine dining at an even better price, we will certainly return. Be reassured that the Crab and Lobster do not relate to the proprietors - most welcoming!
