The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallHad a nice meal - burger from the specials menu, hubby had lamb shank. Both well cooked and presented :)
Trawden Arms – ColneWe’ve been wanting to try this local restaurant since they opened and finally got round to it by booking for Thursday Streak Night. Excellent meal, our Rib Eye Steaks were cooked well, juicy and tender. The menu included a bottle of wine which although only a house red was perfectly acceptable. Couldn’t resist the urge for desserts, which again were lovely. Service was good, although we were actually dining quite early and midweek. The decor and layout is attractive and the ambience was good. We were a little unsure of the loud boisterous noise coming from the adjoining bar area but this was due to a birthday gathering and did disperse later which was fine. Some sort of partition glass door to separate the restaurant from the bar area might eliminate the loud noise from time to time perhaps, as it was very open
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenHelpful and friendly staff. Delicious food and a brilliant atmosphere. Best restaurant for miles.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkVisited for our wedding anniversary and unfortunately we were given each other’s steaks and the waitresses need to learn how to serve food properly as passing hot plates is not satisfactory- they should be put on the table and not expect the customer to take them from your hands. Our family had been in earlier in the day to pay towards our meal as a surprise but the staff failed to tell us or deduct the money from our bill so they had to call back in to get a refund and were told that the voucher was on our table - well it wasn’t and we have a photo to prove that so they said someone would be in contact with us but a week later and we’ve heard nothing. Disappointing!
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenFriendly service, excellent food and great value for money.
Siena – RossendaleDelicious food, they even have a doggy menu! The pub is still being decorated. As the dog was with us, we sat in a separate area to the restaurant and it was Thursday lunch time so no-one else dining around us. Large car-park. We will definitely eat there again.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyVisited the Traders for my birthday as wanted to visit somewhere new and had seen some online information recently. Great food and the service was fantastic. We will be back
The Traders Arms – BlackburnExcellent visit yet again! We met with friends for a small celebration. Brilliant reception, wonderful service and great food. We will be back.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeWe came to the water witch yesterday as it had been recommended everywhere. I was expecting good things as these expectations were exceeded. Food was lovely, menu was great for all our fussy eaters (I'm vegetarian, and brought a vegan and 2 meat eaters). I was told the place was dog freindly and it really is. Staff brought water for our very happy labrador. A great place in a fab location with lovely staff. Keep.it up, we'll be back *great chips too!
The Waterwitch – LancasterFrom arrival to exit, hosted excellently well, Brunch was our option today and we were joined by plenty of others to enjoy the Chefs efforts. An excellently put together Breakfast and I couldn’t get enough, lovely as always. Thanks team B&B
Bread and Butter – PrestonTook my hubby for a 'date night'. He isn't a fan of pizza (doesn't like the tomato sauce), so was really pleased that there was a pizza on the menu without tomato sauce. This was my second time visiting in a week, as my auntie had taken me to site as a late birthday celebration. Loved the food, atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Will see you again very soon.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenHad Early Bird Menu - mussels in white wine followed by canelloni. Good choice, great service.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFood was fabulous lovely decor. Great service especially the young man with the glasses (sorry don’t know his name) He was so professional and had such a lovely manner. He is an asset to your business.
