Blue Moon Restaurant – LancasterTino's is a fantastic Italian restaurant, the food is lovely and the staff are very helpful & friendly. Myself & my family always choose Tino's for all our occasions, and I even held my wedding reception there which was a fantastic day thanks Tino's, I would certainly recommend to anyone.
Tinos – PrestonWe decided to go to the Hospital Inn for a birthday treat as the food is always good. We had a lovely meal, as is the norm, and decided to push the boat out and have a pudding seeing as it was a special occasion. What stood out from the menu was the strawberry and crème brulee trifle. How good does that sound? Well believe me, it wasn't. It was nothing more than a knicker bocker glory glass filled with jelly with spray cream on the top. Definitely not my idea of trifle. What really got me though was the attitude of the waitress. She totally blanked me when I said I couldn't eat it. A second waiter noticed our distain when he came to clear plates from the table next to us and after I explained said he would be back. He never returned. To say it spoilt our meal would be putting it lightly. That said, we will return because the dinner was lovely. Will just refrain from ordering desert in future.
Hospital Inn – PrestonSagar Premier, Clayton Brook Our family have dined at Sagar Premier since they first opened (when the children were little) and now there are four generations of curryholics in the family who continue to enjoy this fine local restaurant. Having reviewed Indian Restaurants around the world while on business trips I have sent Pat Chapman (of the Good Curry Restaurant Guide) numerous reports but no restaurant has consistently enhanced its reputation for quality cuisine and customer service as Sagar Premier. Congratulations to Badrul , his managers, chefs and staff
Sagar Premier – PrestonI visited on 2nd Jan just after 12. Hadn't been before and wasn't sure if it was open or serving food. Pleasantly surprised to hear that the full menu was available so sat by the roaring fire to study the menu. My wife went for the homemade lasagne and I went for the seafood linguini. My wife enjoyed hers and mine was the best I've eaten with plenty of mussels, prawns and calamari and chillies. A lovely meal, friendly staff and host - we'll definitely return.
The Ship Inn – OrmskirkHolloways Fish and Chips holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers. This makes it one of the finest fish and chip shops in the country. You can be assured of the quality of food and service in this shop.
