Ocean Palace – DarwenAn absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The surroundings are plush and welcoming. The food is outstanding, as are the staff and the evening was altogether fabulous.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonExcellent meal, good value for food quality, very friendly and efficient staff. Well worth a visit.
Tiggis Pizzeria – PrestonMy sister and I had lunch on the 16/11/2011 and they had a lunch time special for £3.95, between 12 - 3pm mon - Sat.The choice was a list of about 10 dinners, I opted for fish and chips with homemade batter and chips.I was really impresses the fish was lovely the same fish would have cost between £8.00 and £13.00 in other places I have eaten at.it as really tasty my sister had the liver and onions and she enjoyed it. If you want a home cooked meal for less than a fiver get down to the Hare and Hounds! they had other offers on 2 meals for a tenner and the have a Xmas special on 3 courses for £9.99. I certainly will be going back.
Hare and Hounds – AccringtonI've been to Jade Gardens twice and i have found the staff very friendly and the food delicious. The food isn't as fatty as most Chinese restaurants and the food is fast to come to the table. The menu is fairly cheap and not too expensive. There is also a bar which is good too for pre- drinks before your meal.
Jade Gardens – AccringtonWent to Truffles in October 2011. What a fantastic find. We had a superb meal and found everyone pleasant and attentive. The chef/patron James deserves to do well and if you haven't tried this restaurant yet - why not!!!!!
Truffles – ChorleyI have never been to the great land but I is the best restaurant ever because Winston lives there
Great Land Cantonese Restaurant – ClitheroeTop restaurant, the food here is the best in Lancashire, give them a try you wont be disappointed.
Kashti – PrestonWe have been new season tapas and cocktail bar last week we had fantastic atmosphere the staff was so friendly and service was so good there was a guy from turkey he was so good at his job and work so hard he does an excellent job in there
Seasons – ChorleyI Love, Love, Love this place. 2 of us went for Saturday lunch taking advantage of the £5 off voucher and a flawless lunch was had. Service was tip top, the asst sommelier made a couple of great choices for me. I started off as I always start off with the signature blackpudding, trout with a mustard nettle sauce, Mum had the parsnip soup which was also a winner. The bread is fantastic and never ending. Main course we both had the loin of veal with swede, spinach, shallots and Jus. The veal being tender and tasty. Finally we opted for the apple trifle and roasted pears with rice pudding. A resounding success. See you on Boxing day.
Northcote – BlackburnWe just have to say that The Dressers Arms DEFINITELY has the BEST steak night deal in the Chorley area - we know as we have try them all on a regular basis !!!We always get a quality wine here and a very good steak or gammon. With a very good meal/wine, excellent service all in a very beautiful pub makes this a clear winner.Keep up the good work.
Dressers Arms – ChorleyWe always get fantastic food at the Aspinall, served by Simon and his staff. All the years we have been going there we have never had cause to complain.
Aspinall Arms – ClitheroeThe food was hot. I was disappointed with the service. Location ok I was passing through struggled to park at first. I may visit again.
Cemetery Chippy – ColneFirst visit a few weeks ago for my Birthday. We are going again next Sat 12th Nov. FOOD THE BEST IN THE AREA. FANTASTIC! The only negative I have is the poor greeting and not asking your name to coincide on the reservations. You just sit in a waiting area and not even offered drinks or menus and when a table comes free, moved to that table, thus giving you no time to look at the menu.
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – Prestonvery good indeed the steaks are mega and the bill was not to bad for table of four with us all drinking wine well done to staff and the owner well done folks xx
Quattro’s – OrmskirkThis restaurant is my personal favourite. As soon as you walk through the front door you are greeted with a warm homely atmosphere. There is a cosy bar area to eat your appetisers, order your food and have a drink, while you wait to be shown to your table. The food is absolutely amazing without the price that accompanies such high class cuisine. The staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to make your mealtime the best they can. Usually we have a laugh with some of the staff and you really get the feeling that they care about their customers, as opposed to some places which only care about their money! They also do gift vouchers which would make fantastic presents. This restaurant is as close to perfection as you can get ;)
Mamma Mia – Burnleyvery good service and delicious food
La Vespa – ClitheroeWhat an awful experience there is no such thing as service with a smile. The women who served me today thought she was really something. Make out to be an English chippy and its greasy Chinese stodge.
