Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonCalled in at the Victoria whilst on holiday. Very welcoming, fair prices and excellent food. Will call again when next in area.
Victoria Inn – LancasterI visited the Double Tree on the unveiling of the restaurant. Have to say i was not satisfied with the service. Understandable due to a few teething problems. On the other hand i went to the double tree with my wife and a few friends during the week and have to say: If you want to experience great food and great service Double Tree is for you. The Double Tree staff were attentive and service excellent. You can taste each component of the food, not like some Indian restaurants which seem to use one sauce to form the basis for most dishes. They will always accommodate your wishes regarding HOTNESS, also to mention the fact that we were offered a round of complimentary drinks. Great Treat and highly recommended!
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonWe dine here every week the staff are very friendly and nothing is a problem. Great choice of menus and able to help with food intolerances. Good value for money with homemade food, not frozen microwave rubbish you get in other local pubs.
The Pear Tree – Prestonnon what so ever i saw the chef scratching his behind while he was cooking and then chopping veg it was disgusting.
Dalton Arms – LancasterSultan Restaurant is a venue that really suits it's name. The building is about 200 years old, it has got some really interesting artwork up on the ceiling which really gives it the feel of a sultans lair. The food was excellent. I chose the chicken jalfrezi which was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely return.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterWe live locally so visit various places in the area... Pinocchios is not our favorite place to dine we have had better food and service at other local food establishments. lunch is good here off the special lunch menu, but dinner is rather expensive, the wine menu is varied but again very expensive. 2 starters, 2 main courses 1 bottle of wine. 1 vodka and coke and 1 pint of bitter... £74.00 without a tip
Pinocchios – PrestonDouble tree restaurant is really fantastic.Their food, service in a word fabulous. So i always recommend all to enjoy the nice facility of Double tree restaurant
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonThis Mother Day was one of the enjoyable day for me.I went Double Tree restaurant with my mother.Actually my mother like Indian food very much so on that day i also tried wild jumbo king prawn.Absolutely it 's one of the fabulous food in my life. Not only the food but also the service is excellent. This restaurant is nicely decorated and they have all modern facilities. So in a word this restaurant is truly fantastic.
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonWe went to the yew tree in January to celebrate my mothers 50th birthday and have to say we will defiantly be back. The staff are extremely helpful and will always go that extra mile to ensure your evening is special. I opted for fillet steak which I asked asked for medium rare and that's exactly how it came. I must say as well, the veg of the day and fluffy hand cut chips complimented it very well. My mother had the fillet of sea bass which see said was to die for, I was surprised because see is usually very fussy with way she eats. We finished our puddings and was directed into a reserved area of the lounge next to the roaring log fire. We really enjoyed our evening and and got a big thank you when will left. We will definitely be back and will recommend to any friend or family member.
Yew Tree Inn – Chorleyhad a great Sunday lunch with my old queen. The potted duck and Cumberland sauce was great although it maybe needed a touch more salt. The other side of the table got all sticky with the ginger sticky chicken wings. Main courses of Roast loin of pork was the ultimate. 2 good slices of pork loin still tender and juicy with crackling that was supremely crispy. the portobello mushroom burger was good but the tomato sauce has the weirdest taste, maybe some work needs doing there. The jelly was more like a wine gum consistency which was a shame and lacked flavour although the whipped custard quenelle was beauty. I could of eaten a whole jar of that. After saying all that the service was impeccable and the new spring menu will be arriving on Friday the 15th April. we will be booking for Easter. Yes that's correct you will need to book. I love this place, i have a soft spot for it. Keep up the good work.
The Three Fishes – ClitheroeThe Black Horse is a charming and delightful place to eat , my wife and I revisited with my sisters after a 40 + yrs away and missing the pub style meals of fish and chips and mushy peas . My what a treat we truly enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of the management. We have one regret not bring back the mushy pea recipe if you feel comfortable sending it we would appreciate it. The Black Horse – ChorleyTruly fantastic. Great place. Amazing service. Fabulous food! Totally recommended!!
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonThis restaurant is totally fantastic, it was just a great experience, for my family and I. I decided to go on the first week of opening and it was Very busy... I can see the reasoning behind this as the food was truly fabulous. The service was reasonably good considering they a full house the food was out and ready within a flash. It was a great dinning experience for my family I would recommend this restaurant to anyone with great taste and style.
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonI decided to take my family out to this restaurant on a Friday night, and quite frankly it was dead! The atmosphere was horrible. The waiters we very disrespectful towards a paying customer! The food came out 30 mins after we ordered but considering we were the only ones in the service was very bad,.. But not only did it take a while the food that came out was extremely cold, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone!
East Z East – PrestonNot a bad place if i was to pay a tenner for the food, it tasted like a jar of uncle bens ready made curry sauce... with uncooked rice! Not Acceptable at all! very disappointed, best part of the night was leaving... Dont bother wasting your money...
Touch Of Spice – PrestonThe Double Tree Restaurant, is defiantly a place to go to, if you are after first class food. The people are friendly, the prices are fantastic, and the food is phenomenal, I would recommend everybody to give Double Tree a try!! Had such a lovely time with friends as the atmosphere within the restaurant was warm, and the service was fantastic. I will be visiting again very soon!
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonA fantastic place, the food is only surpassed by the friendly staff. The meals I have had here are both tasty and filling, by far the best curry I've had in and about Preston. Brilliant!
