Trishna Indian Tandoori Restaurant – Clitheroemanager/ owner is really friendly and funny, staff are fairly efficeint and friendly, you can see the kitchen from the restaurant which gives a nice open feel. It's always busy with a fun atmosphere. Food is good, drinks are v pricey, parking is adequate. Sadly you can't tip your waiter as they pool all tips with all staff incl management/ cleaners etc. Makes me reluctant to tip as I prefer to tip directly and proportionately to how well I was served and looked after. Love it here though and I go on a regular basis.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyAlways good value lite bites and Thursday steak nights. Good atmosphere with roaring fire in winter.
Farmers Arms and Glasshouse Restaurant – OrmskirkFantastic atmosphere and food , will be returning
Royal Hotel – CarnforthI have been in Burnley Chinese buffet first and last time. We went there on saturday during the day and there was no customers inside only us three. I felt strange, there was no a lot choice in food, all food was about 5 table spoons of all dishes, so when we empty it they bring another 5 table spoons. Sorry but this is the worst chinese buffet in Lancashire and I have been in quite few. Not recommended
Oriental Buffet Restaurant – BurnleyExcellent value for money and staff very polite and helpful
The Field Fare – ChorleyFood has improved in the last 6 Months with a new Chef. Chef likes to meet diners when food is presented. Not the best but good enough to try.
Trishna Indian Tandoori Restaurant – ClitheroeLovely place but there is where the compliments finish for me. The waiters are very aloof and the last time I was there we had 3 differant meals, however, on trying each one they all tasted the same. An old saying, all fur coat and no substance (changed for politness)
Shajan – BlackburnReally nice food plenty of it had the 2 courses for 8.95 Sunday roast the plates was groaning with food the sweet was heaven the service we could not fault will eat there again.
The Travellers Rest – ChorleyAs A 20 yr old student as Lancaster I am frequently popping in and out of town and often get food whenever needed. I was so sick of the regular food chains such as McDonalds, KFC, Yates etc. Lancaster needed something special to break away from the boring deep fried foods. I love to try new things and GoBurrito was something worth trying again and again. The food is amazing, fresh, not processed and a true taste of mexico. Made in front of you and in a matter of minutes. The venue is calming, full of joy and amazingly decorated. The food is to die for, and priced well for a student budget! The loco nachos are the best nachos I've ever had, and I've had alot!!! I crave GoBurrito when I'm at home and not at Uni, luckily for me they now do delivery- which I will be taking full advantage of! Thankyou for being an amazing, orginical food store!
GoBurrito – LancasterGood honest home cooked food, need I say more?? We're heading there for lunch today
Observatory Pub & Restaurant – BlackburnAnother good meal at the Three Fishes just prior to Christmas. It’s the original one of Northcote’s now four Ribble Valley pubs and for me it’s still the best by some distance. Always seems to be busy and yet the staff are well-drilled and friendly. The fish pie was lovely – as was the bottle of Chablis we had with it – and the pumpkin soup from the seasonal menu was very moreish.
The Three Fishes – ClitheroeI've just had my first experience of, an all you can eat grill and steak house meal. Very impressed with the service, quality and quantity of food for £22. £17 on the early bird menu. Clean, friendly, attentive, delicious food. Could not have asked for more.
Skewers – Chorley(wow) what a Christmas party night we had 16 ladies who enjoyed excellent food, sticky toffee pud to die for!!! entertainment, with a great atmosphere & the service was outstanding. Will be visiting again very soon :) thankyou from all at St. Mary's Sabden.
The Fat Giraffe – BurnleyFood was ok. Service from the staff was very good, however the service from the management was appalling!! the manager couldn't be bothered to come over to speak to us when we were enquiring about Christmas Day lunch. He chose to keep sending his staff member backward and forward from us to him to answer our questions when it was obvious she couldn't help us. we left abruptly after commenting on how hopeless the to-ing and fro-ing was between them. When we left he couldn't even be bothered to say goodbye!! (the bar and restaurant were empty at this time) we will dine elsewhere in the future, even though we are very local to the Butlers. In the current climate i can't believe a business would choose to treat people in this rude and appalling way. Such a shame as it could be an amazing place with the right management running it..
Butlers Arms – BlackburnThe best Indian Restaurant we've ever experienced. Excellent food and fantastic service!! We won't go anywhere else.
Far Pavilion Tandoori Restaurant – CarnforthBeen going to this restaurant since it got taken over about 2 years and I go there around once a month and I most say that its one of the best Indians around. They have a dish called the mark bottomley special in memory of mark bottomoley which you have to try.I
Bay Leaves – ChorleyI cannot explain just how nice this restaurant is. Both food and service are always impeccable. I have taken numerous family members to Tino's and they have all only had good things to say about it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates an oustanding meal and experience. 10/10
